I receive more than my fair share of predatory business loans and nonsense via fax, however, a fake invoice asking for a current amount due is over the line. First of all, the domain name I am supposed to be paying for has been defunct for 16 years. The company they are trying to invoice has been purchased by my current company. This is a terrible advertising strategy. They set this up complete with an account number. I have read on the Rip Off Report that plenty of other business owners have received the same fax and there are multiple complaints on this company for predatory fake invoices.

- Catonsville, MD, USA

Received a fax of a fake invoice for services not requested or purchased by us. We have never heard of, much less done business with this company before. In doing some research it seems that this is a scam as I have come across multiple complaints posted today (via ripoff report). The invoice looks very legitimate. The invoices was in the amount of $95.87.

This is a scam. DO NOT PAY.

Our business received a faxed invoice out off the blue for website SEO optimization. Never had any contact with this company. Online research shows multiple people received the same invoice ($95.87 due) with no prior connection to the company.

Received 2 of the exact same fax stating our business owed money.

Received invoice on Fax machine. No one from our Company ordered services for our website domain.

We received a fax saying we owed $95.87 from a company we have never used nor heard of. When you call the number you never get a person it just goes to a recording. When we looked online for the company, many people have already reported this as a scam saying they received an invoice by fax for that same amount.

Received a fax from internet SEO provider claiming a balance due on 'our account.' Fax uses an outdated name and address for our company and provides an account number, except that we have never had an account with this company. The Service Summary reads like a sales pitch, but nowhere does it say it's not a real invoice. It is otherwise organized exactly like an invoice including a remittance slip. The company website offers an 'opt-out' feature hidden under a 'legal' tab that requires all the information one would have to provide to register.

Company sent out an invoice for supposedly search engine optimization. The amount was for $95.87. Never heard of this company and there definitely were not authorized to perform any work for our company.

We received an unexpected/unsolicited fax from this "company," an invoice for a product/service that we never signed up for. No one in the office has ever heard of this company and definitely did not sign up for SEO services. Looking online, their website is very basic; a google search said they are based in South Africa, but the invoice has a Houston, Texas address to send this supposed "amount due."

I hesitantly called the number on the "invoice" and it is a recorded message that directs you to send an email to their [email protected] email address. I am not doing that and not going to contact them since this is clearly a scam. The website actually looks kind of legit, but not quite.

- Westlake, OH, USA

We received a faxed invoice requesting payment for services that we did not request. Upon further investigation, it appears that payment is requested to be remitted to an address not associated with the business.

- Palmerton, PA, USA

Received a Faxed invoice saying we owed money for services on our website. Looks like a legitimate invoice. I tried to call and their number gave you the option of emailing them or contacting them through their website. I pressed "0" and was on hold for about 2 minutes. It did allow me to leave a message.

- Holland, MI, USA

We received an invoice on 2/12 for SEO services, complete with "our account number," asking us to pay $95.87 by 2/23. We do not do business with this company or have an account with them. Furthermore, SEO is only something you pay for if someone is managing the content of your website. Other than a their website, I can find no information about this "business."

- Covington, GA, USA

Blue Rocket SEO faxed and invoice for "affordable, effective search engine optimization" for a total of $95.87. The invoice appeared as if we had contracted these services. We have never heard of them. Fortunately, we know who our active suppliers are. This is a scam!

- Salem, VA, USA

Received a Faxed invoice for search engine optimization for a domain address. The amount of the invoice is $95.87.

- Burlington, WI, USA

Faxed an invoice for no product or service.
