I got a package from Amazon with a Chinese return address. I have ordered from Amazon before, and had them delivered, but this came without my ordering anything. Amazonprime keeps trying to get me to re-up with them. We have told them no multiple times. When I opened the package that came recently, there were seeds in the package. All of the information they have on us is correct. The description of the contents says "headwear."

I answered a scam call on my landline from Amazon today. Normally I do not answer. I think it was a recording. The phone number in my caller ID was similar to mine. The call came from 419-468-9352. I called the number back and of course it is not a working number. It said something about confirming a $400 membership with Amazon. I did not listen to the entire message. When I heard that I hung up. We don't use Amazon.

Stating the was a purchase on my account for an iphone. For $900 thinking it was fraudulent charge. Press 1 to report 2 to confirm.

Started receiving phone messages on our land line regarding a $729 transaction from Dayton, Ohio on my Amazon account. Message lasts about 11 seconds, is a recording and starts mid message. I am instructed to press 1 to speak to a representative. I have listed just the 4 most recent numbers received within the last hours. Number always changes. Received about 4 of these messages late last week as well but did not document. All are the same message today, the previous calls were for a couple different amounts. I don’t even have an Amazon account. I do not answer this line, all calls go to the answering machine. I just want these annoying calls to stop.

They're calling every 10 minutes...from my area code recorded message saying my Amazon account has a fraudulent charge of between $400-$700 is pending. I hang up, and bock the number, but they call back from different phone numbers...

The caller wanted access to my bank account to give me credit for an unstoppable charge for $499.00 from Amazon. John Wilson wanted remote access to my computer after I logged in to my bank account. Quick Access App to be used.

VM 1: “ “_?_?_ _?_?_?_ now Ohio _?_ speed on this charge press one to connect with our Amazon customer care representative thank you…”

VM 2: “ “_?_?_?_ for _?_?_?_?_?_?_ on this charge press one to connect with our Amazon customer care representative thank you…”

Someone was trying to access my Amazon account. Called Amazon and they said they do not call they email if there is a problem. I did not press one to speak to anyone.

Receiving phone calls every 15 minutes. The calls either have a recording that says "its mollie from amazon. an unusual charge has been made to our amazon account and to press 1 to be connected to an amazon rep." The calls can also have a live person on the line with a heavy middle eastern accent. Very aggressive and very harassing. We hang up and the caller calls right back always using a ************ number. The XXXX alternates on every call. At one point, the name Susan ******* came up on the caller ID. We verified on both amazon and our credit card used by amazon have not been charged.

Received an email from Amazon thinking it was for my son I opened it since my husband and I don't use internet to order. It was for my husband showing he had ordered a New Apple iPhone 12 ProMax (128GB, Graphite) cost including S&H was 899.99. It was to be delivered to 1015 Virginia Blvd., Austin, Texas 77010 on Jan. 15th. My husband uses a Tracfone. The order # on the invoice was AM51929488NOVE and it was hi-lited for the customer service # if any questions or concerns 866-271-1129. I checked this number out to see if it was legit and it showed scam alert, but it said if you received a call. We received an email with customer service #. Their was no info in the email about payment. Just wanted to make sure you were aware of this. Not real good at using the internet

They called to say that a $1,000.00 purchase was made and would be credited to my account. If I did not make the purchase please press 1.

In a panic I pressed 1. Stupid move I know! Now I’m afraid of what might happen.

Phone went dark after I pressed 1 and then hung up!

Help! What do I do now?

I got a call yesterday and today from Amazon saying our Visa account would be charged for a purchase of $499.99. For more information I am to call an Amazon rep at 940-302-1695. We have never ordered anything from Amazon.

- Jacksonville, FL, USA

Automated message saying there’s an issue with my account and to press 1 to connect with an Amazon Customer Care Representative.

We have gotten 2 calls from 701-874-0790 which comes up as a ND phone number. It says, on our answering machine, that if we want our Amazon order to be shipped, called 3097050963 which is an Illinois area code. I know that Amazon does not operate this way. We have not answered. We know this is fraud. We have not been victimized. We are submitting this to let you know of this activity going on.

This phone number came up on the caller ID as Karen Smith. When I answered it said “this is amazing and your account has been logged in from Dallas, Texas and made an order of $832. If this was not you press 2” I hung up and when I called the number back it said the number was out of service.

Message left on my phone stating there was a suspicious application to open an amazon account in my name and it was urgent for me to respond by calling 7262007470. I called and was told by”Jack Wilson”.... an obviously Indian man with a heavy accent....that he needed to immediately have my permission to close an account that was attempted to be opened by a man in Ohio, for the purpose of purchasing an IPhone. When I asked who and what are you and how to I know you are legitimate? He became agitated and stated that he did not want to lose his job by doing anything wrong....and all he was doing was trying to help me to not be scammed by the man in Ohio. I told him I would call Amazon myself to confirm any issue with my account.....he was more frustrated and insisted he was the only one who could help me. I told him I would not talk to him anymore and I started to hang up when he said he would be calling me back. Sure enough he called me back and I told him to leave me alone and that he was a scammer and a fraud and he said I am connecting you with my supervisor to which I hung up and blocked his number. I then contacted Amazon customer service for the second time, and was told that many customers have been calling with the exact same complaint and Amazon’s fraud department is working on solving the issue.

A phone call posing as Amazon agent form a local #, 812-822-4704. He said that my account may have been compromised and suspicious credit card activity had been used to purchase an Apple I-phone for $1499. He could not identify the credit card that had been used for the purchase, but that it was my Amazon account.

He ask me to log in and out of my Amazon account; what type of computer was I on and the type of browser I was using. He was directing me to open it up again and that it should say 'Hello Steven'.

He said the phone was bought for (or by) Steven Smith.

I told him I could not log into Amazon and that I would have to call him back. The phone # he gave to me was 206-479-4050 and ask for case # 370 169 18. I had never given him my name and he did not address me by my proper name. I received 2 phone calls from the 206 number within about 10 minutes; I did not not answer the calls. Thank you.

I received a part that I never ordered. I believe this is called a "Brushing Scam" to test mail recipients.

There is no log of the order on my amazon account. The malicious party obtained by name and mailing address somehow. My name and the business address is not publicized in anyway.
