I received a letter in the mail stating my home warranty was about to expire with STEARNS LNDG. I knew it was a scam since STEARNS is no longer my lending company and a home warranty was never under them. They listed Amber Lawrence, Program Director as a contact person but no website or email provided only a phone number (877) 499-4406. They listed their hours of operation from Friday 7am to 7pm CST and Saturday 9am to 2pm. They even referenced a Customer ID in their letter.

Stated it was from the home warranty division of first security bank. The person's name and signature was Amber Lawrence Program Director. Phone bumber is 877-498-4406 or 877-515-1430 for spanish. Had a cusomter ID on it. Open on Monday October 14th for Columbus Day. The writing at the bottom also states : not all consumers have previous coverage. Superior Home Protection is not affiliated with your current mortgage holder. Home Warranty administered by Warranty Global Group. There is no return address, just the zipcode on the prepaid postage on envelope. The letter also says it is the final notice with an expiration date. Also they didnt even have my name correct. The letter stated that the warranty is expiring, and thus was the final attempt to contact me.

Receiver mail notifying me that I have not contacted them about getting my home warranty up do date. The language used is aggressive and urgent. However, I do not have home insurance with Rocket Mortgage and this does not look like an official letter from Rocket Mortgage because there is no physical address or email address. Just an 800 phone number and a contact person (Amber Lawrence)

I received a threatening "FINAL NOTICE" letter regarding my home warranty, claiming that I hadn't updated my policy. The letter provided the phone number 1-877-499-4406 and was from Amber Lawrence, Program Director. I gave the number a call and was greeted by a Paul. When I asked about the letter, he falsely claimed that I had purchased a home warranty when I bought my home a few years ago. I responded by mentioning that I recently replaced my refrigerator and would like it covered under the old policy, as it broke while supposedly still covered. The associate then told me that wasn't possible and that I would need to call first for future claims. When I asked for a copy of my previous policy and where this was stated, he abruptly ended the conversation, saying, "Have a good day, sir. Bye-bye."

The sender attempts to scare you into calling about losing your home warranty. They represent themselves at HUD agency. I get one of these letters a month with a deadline. At the bottom of the letter in tiny print it reads" Not all consumers have previous coverage. Superior Home Protction is not affiliated with your current mortgage lender. Home Warranty administered by Warranty Global Group. If a person doesn't read this small print at the bottom, they could very well call and get scammed.

I, keep getting letters from this Tidewater Home Funding LLC

Without checking this information out I, called this number 1-877-449-4406 for TIDEWATER FUNDING LLC. The person asked for me to repeat the number of my customer ID; (HME3621141) which I, did she then told me what my address was. So I asked her what was this about and she stated that my home warranty was about to expire, I then asked what was she talking about she stated my heating and air condition I told her that I don't need a warranty so she asked me was they working good I told her they was working just great . I think that she was trying to get me to answer yes to some of her questions.I then told her, that my name was not Ms. Thomas, good bye and hung up the phone It did not register, for me to check this more closely. before making the call . No return address, no email, just a fake name for a fraudulent business
