Received a letter in the mail alleging that my home warranty was or had expired. It listed my home address and the lender I used. It includes a customer identification number. It provides no other identification for the company. It states the Program Director is Amber Lawrence. No email nor website is provided. Just because of the hours of operation provided in CST, I'm going to assume this location is somewhere in the midwest. At the bottom of the letter it says the following: "Superior Home Protection is not affiliated with your current mortgage holder. Home Warranty Administered by Warranty Global Group."

Sent mail to an elderly family member. The mailer reads as follows: Attention: (Family Member) It is important that you contact our office at 1-877-499-4406 upon receiving this notice to avoid any unnecessary delays in your coverage before 01/08/2025. This notice is to inform you that the property's home warranty at (address) secured by ALLIANCE MTG CO, may be expiring or may have already expired. etc, etc.

I called and the man couldn't provide any information about the home's supposed warranty or answer when (Family member) had warranty with the company. He attempted to extort payment for a fraudulent coverage that didn't exist.

Scammer sent my elderly mother (deceased for 8 years now) a letter to my home (her last known home of record prior to her death) purporting that her home warranty (she never had one as this is my home) was in danger of expiring and that failure to renew coverage could result in lack of coverage and full financial responsibility for any potential repairs. There was no letterhead or logo on the document or envelope and it was mailed from Atlanta, GA via bulk mail permit 2880. Program Director listed is Amber Lawrence with a toll free number of 877-499-4406 and a Spanish contact number of 877-515-1430.
