Youngmans Equipment is using my NYSHIP Empire ID number & my name to bill Empire for Medical Supplies. This has happened to my husband and myself before. Empire has denied the claim but this company keeps sending fraudulent bills.

A company named Youngmans Equipment has been trying to get paid by my insurance company (UnitedHealthcare). It has tried to claim over $58,000 in equipment expenses to my husband’s healthcare insurance over the last 8 months. My insurance company has not paid any of these claims, however, the insurance company never contacted us stating there appeared to be suspicious activity. We contacted the insurance company and they stated as long as you are not getting a bill for this don’t worry. This is the 2nd time this has happened. Last year a company named JABMEDIX INC filed over $16000 in claims against my insurance. We contacted united healthcare/Empire. They told us to disregard and they were looking into it. I am afraid someone might have my husband’s medical information. Please advise.
