I have received several calls stating that there has been a complaint filed against me and to reach out to them to discuss at ph# 855-485-4988. They call with a local zip code to trick people into thinking they are local and more likely to answer. I called around and have nothing against me. Just another BS scam from horrible people.

I had this number call me starting on june 11th 2024 up until today, july 23rd 2024. They left Multiple voicemails looking for a family member of mine, stating that they had a complaint against them in their office and that if we wanted to handle this matter voluntarily that we must get in contact with them immediately. I called the number back and the lady answered the phone. Using my family members name followed by claims estate, she became irate and rude when I was inquiring what she was calling about and asked why I had to be so inconspicuous with my information. When I asked her who should I tell him to call? She vaguely said the county With no county identifiers, or even her name.

I had this number call me, when I answered an automated message came on saying that they received a complaint and named my sister as the respondent and to press 1 to speak to an agent. I didn't press one and just hung up. First of all if you're looking for my sister why call me? Something really needs to be done about these scammers already

Used a VOIP # to make it look local. Called me by my name from 20 years ago. All Automated. Stated there was a "Claim Against Me" and it was imperative to call 855-485-4988 to settle this immediately. I have perfect credit, have no lawsuits etc. If there was a legitimate claim against anyone, they wouldn't robo call you and make you call some other #--they would send a letter and or serve you in person

I received almost simultaneous calls to my landline and cell phone. I had already blocked this number on the landline. The voicemail left on my cell phone gave the name of my mother-in-law "...we received a complaint in our office naming you [mother-in-law] as a respondent It's imperative we hear from you immediately. If you desire to handle this matter voluntarily, we can be reached at. 855-485-4988..." BTW my mother in law has been deceased for almost six years.

submitting this report to the ScamPulse.com Scam Tracker to inform you about ongoing fraudulent phone calls from a group claiming to be AMS Legal Support Services. These calls, which are automated, falsely allege that there is a legal case against me. Disturbingly, these calls have not been limited to me but have also targeted people, including elderly family members, who are in no way connected to me.

I have verified with local law enforcement and courts, confirming that there are no active cases or judgments against me. Additionally, direct contact with AMS Legal Support Services has established that they have no record of me or any related case. This situation is particularly alarming as I have been a victim of identity theft within the last two years.

The primary number for returning these calls is 855-485-4988, although the scam calls originate from various numbers designed to appear local, such as 860-323-8676 and 860-864-8204. Online searches reveal that the 855 number is being used in a similar manner to deceive numerous other individuals.

I am reporting this issue to the ScamPulse.com to alert the community about this scam. The fraudulent calls are not only misleading but also potentially harmful, especially to vulnerable demographics like the elderly. Your awareness and any dissemination of information regarding this scam would be beneficial in preventing further victimization.

This number has been calling all of my family members as well but never directly myself. This number has been seen calling other scammers but there is not enough information to understand who they are.

A phone is never answered in return calls but a voice mail. This caller states there is a claim against me but I do not have any document or mail correspondence about this.

I received a voicemail from (855) 485-4988. They stated the voicemail message is for Jennifer Campbell (who is my ex-wife, divorced in 1999)

I did a Google search for the phone number (855) 485-4988. I found the number associated with a scam on the ScamPulse.com website. So, I am filing this complaint. However, I did not return the call to (855) 485-4988

They called looking for my wife and used her previous last name from over 20 years ago. We called back and they would not tell her what it was about but they stated "that my wife should get a job" (My wife has been a RN for 30 years. lol). Then they kept saying, "you know what this is about". We really don't, so we entered the number into google and looky-looky at all the Scam reviews. While we were reading all the Scam alerts for this number, they called back from 302-599-0735 (a Hockessin, DE number) and called us "white trash", etc. We filed a Police Report so it is under investigation and we have filed a Complaint with our Attorney General. We recommend anyone getting calls from this number to do the same.

Called and left an automated voicemail with my first name and my previous married last name that was changed 13 years agošŸ˜‚. They stated, they received a complaint in their office against me. They called from a local number, but left a different call back number as 855-485-4988.. Neither of them answer and when you call it sounds very static and has a weird echo.

Someone called and stated that i am named in a civil suit from a company i have no knowledge of over 20 years ago. The person said her name was Ms Day and I hr company suiting me was EZ Money. I looked up Acute Mediation. Nothing comes up with that name on google. She refused to give me the address. But wanted me to make a payment and got frustrated when i asked her how do i know you are legit.

A voice message was received that a complaint was filed against me and that I needed to call (855) 485-4988 to resolve the issue. It was a pre-recorded message that used my full first and last name. The number that the call came from was (661) 471-3659 showing to be from Lancaster, CA., I'm in Bakersfield, CA. The message never identified who the caller was or what their business name was. They have called twice on 2/28/2024 and a few times in the past.

They called me from several different numbers. When I disclosed my background as a former collections agency owner and began to recite the law in accordance with the FDCPA the caller got angry! šŸ˜‚. He then said he was sending me to a ā€˜process serverā€™ at which I replied ā€œso thatā€™s the person in the cubicle next to youā€¦put it on speaker so you can both hear meā€ šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ All professionalism went out the window! #1 I have NEVER had a payday loan so thereā€™s that! lol. Donā€™t play with meā€¦play with your kids!

Alexa Ohara was her name and lying was her game. She made it sound very legit at first, but i stalled her by asking her to go get my settlement offer from the attorney. This way i could do some digging really quick. She had a lot of information that was correct from my past, however the dots were not connecting. Employer was not relevant, meaning I haven't worked for that company for a very long time, and definitely not in the time frame mentioned for the "write off". She got very impatient with me when i asked her who she was with, what the attorney's name was, (which she never gave me), told me she wasn't going to caudle me in this situation. would not tell me who the original creditor was. All red flags! I denied the settlement amount, she got very upset and spouted off some legal sounding mumbo jumbo. and hung up.

Long of the short is, if you know what you owe and who, you always have rights. request everything in writing. if they say they can't than you know you are fine. Stay tuned... I have been getting phone calls from that number for sometime. I'm sure i will get another one.

Said I owed for a loan and the where send a copy to my house to summons me to court. Had my old addresses wanted my new address. But one of the address was wrong. Had the last four of my s.s. number and my date of birth. Kept denying I had a loan that was unpaid. And she hung up on me.

The scammer called me from (406) 345-1107 which makes it appear like a local call using area code (406). They left a voicemail - It was an automated message asking me to hold for the next available agent. Message said they received a complaint in their office and I was listed as a respondent. They needed to hear from me immediately if I wanted to handle this matter voluntarily. They wanted me to call them back at 855-485-4988.

Called from a local number, left the call back number 855-485-4988. Message was cut off at the beginning, sounded spotty, and never stated name, just "mediation department " and something about a claim against my social security number. Total scam bs!
