United States Domain Authority Reports & Reviews (59)

Received an invoice due immediately, for $289 for "annual website domain listing." There's fine print that the company is not a domain registrar, but the verbiage in the rest of the notice implies that they are, and the listing will be dropped if the invoice isn't paid.

We received a letter from the United States Domain Authority saying that we owed $289 to maintain our website. Their website looks legit but it is NOT. This is a SCAM. The letter we received looks very official, but it is a solicitation that gives off the impression of being due. it even shows on the letter that there is a deadline for our official payment.

I own a web design company. I also take care of domain names for my clients. I get dozens and dozens of questions from my customers each month that says, "Do I need to pay this? will I lost my domain name if I don't pay it?" Their mailers are VERY deceptive. Many people are fooled. And if their argument is that they disclose that it isn't a bill in teeny-tiny print, that is not a good reason. Also, if they are a so-called "Domain Name LISTING service" they have ZERO domain names listed on their site. NOTHING. These people are scammers. They send mail using a direct mail service and their permit needs to be revoked IMMEDIATELY. Very bad business practices. They are pulling personal information off of ICANN and WHOIS and using it to target business owners who just don't understand the differences. This has to stop.

This business is a scam and tries to collect $289 in annual domain fees. They are an illegitimate business and this is marketing ploy to try to get customers to pay this fee. DO NOT PAY THIS FEE!!!!

This organization sent me (I own a small business) a postal notice in the form of a bill for $289. They promised "annual website domain listing" for that money. They had a due date of Oct 25, 2021. There was a limited amount of fine print that made it clear that this was not a required bill nor would it in any way renew my domain name registration.

For those who are stretched thin these days, and for those who might be anxious about staying afloat, this is an outright deception.

Sends fake invoice in the amount of $289 for Annual listing Domain name of business listed

- Lincoln, CA, USA

This invoice for "Annual Website Domain Listing" appears to be for your active domain website service when in fact it is not. It is an solicitation for a posting to their company. It is very deceptive in its appearance and has an urgent call for action. If you respond it would have an auto function to charge in the future too.

Invoice dated 08/05/21 and received 09/01/21 stating I owe $289 for "Annual Website Domain Listing". Then in fine print, states the payment is for services and NOT for domain names. Total SCAM and very deceiving.

Deceptive advertising. Leads one to believe you must pay $289 to keep a website domain name.

We received a mailing that looks like an invoice for renewing our domain listing. It is very official looking, and lists all of our company information. After a little research on-line, I realized this is a scam that they apparently send out to many companies. I don't know if it is legal, but it certainly isn't moral. They are preying on small businesses who don't have extra money at this time. Shameful.

I received a billing in the mail that was for an annual renewal for my website. It looked very authentic, however I had a gut feeling that it was scam! Thank goodness I didn't send a check and decided to call my website provider to verify it wasn't from them. It wasn't so beware!! It is a scam!

I was just notified that we had a bill and they were checking with me to see if its our vendor. Its not and so here i am reporting this fraudulent company that's trying to take advantage of businesses. IF you get this letter throw it away folks they have pulled your info from the whois and have listed it on the invoice to further accredit their claims.

- Waukesha, WI, USA

Very misleading invoice. They essentially explain what services they provide, but initially it looks like it is for website domain registration, which is handled by another company (GoDaddy). This company says they will, "enhance your web site exposure". Of course, to find out that they are NOT a Domain Registrar and DON'T Register or Renew Domain Names you have to READ THE ENTIRE INVOICE. As always, BE SURE TO READ YOUR INVOICES AND CONTRACTS! And investigate new companies that you receive invoices from.

The company sent a solicitation letter but made it look like an official United States Domain Website Register. As a small business owner, I can see how other business owners would automatically pay as they use the terms: "Deadline", "Remit Payment", "United States Domain Authority" with an American flag.

Received fake invoices for several of our domains. The invoices were getting ready to be entered for payment when I saw them. Not our registrar, and they are not even a registrar. Don't pay this fraudulent invoice!

I received ANOTHER fake invoice for my business's domain registration from US Domain Authority.

I've received them before from these guys but have discarded it. This is my first report.

Received a fake invoice from US Domain Authority for $289 for website domain listing. This seems to be a scam. It looks like the company keeps popping up trying to collect fees from these invoices.

- New Orleans, LA, USA

UNITED STATES DOMAIN AUTHORITY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE REGISTRATION OR YOUR DOMAIN. SEND THEM NO MONEY!!!

Routinely sends bills for domain renewal around the time our domain registration expires.

- Florence, AL, USA

Letter appears to be invoice for website domain renewal. However they are not our domain registrar service and we have never contacted them for any services. The fine print on the invoice states they are not a domain registrar and just offer an enhanced list.
