I saw an advertisement for a ‘miracle’ weight loss product on social media from the website tryketorganix.com. I of course was skeptical about their outrageous claims, but it was ‘free’ with only a small charge for shipping, so I figured why not? Well I’ll tell you why not so you can save yourself a lot of grief. I placed my ‘free’ order and was charged $11.96 for shipping, but before I even received a confirmation email, I already got an email for some meal plan app I didn’t order..I responded back with a resounding NO. After a week, I still hadn’t received anything, but I did get a fraud alert from my bank about a declined charge for $129.98 from a company called KINDWONDERST meal plans which I never heard of. I immediately called my bank and straightened it out, then I called customer service at tryketorganix.com to confront them about my ‘lost’ order and this mysterious charge…they lied right to face saying my order was returned to them, and they denied knowing anything about any additional charges. I tried to email them at [email protected] but got no real help. In the end, all my funds were returned to me, but this could’ve ended very differently if my credit card company wasn’t on top of this. The FBI should step in and lock them all up!
