Type of a scam Travel/Vacation/Timeshare
On or around [date], I attempted to purchase an airline ticket through cheapvlo.com. During the transaction, I provided my personal information and credit card details. Shortly afterward, the company placed a hold on my credit card but did not issue a valid airline ticket.
Following this, representatives from cheapvlo.com repeatedly informed me that my ticket was “pending” and claimed that the airline had not confirmed it. This explanation was repeated multiple times over several days.
The company then attempted to pressure me into purchasing a significantly more expensive ticket, costing approximately three times the original price, claiming this was necessary for confirmation. This behavior raised concerns that the delay was intentional in order to extract additional money.
