A TEAM REFER AND HEATING LLC

I hired A Team heating and air to install a new central air to my primary home and upgrade a furnace at another property I own not due to any issues just thought it was a good time to make the upgrade. Manuel Enrique Quintero asked for money upfront and I paid him $8000 to order the ac unit and cover labor and parts on or about 5/25/2023. After long periods of time with no updates and no show after no show the unit finally arrived in July only to find out it was the wrong size and would not work for the home. The owner Mr. Quintero apologized and gave me option to cancel as it would take another 6 weeks to order the correct one. I canceled and he promised he would finish the furnace install at the other house but not before asking for $400 for parts. I paid it. The little progress they made looks awful and they left it a mess. He said he would issue my refund right away. As of 8/28/23 no refund and he never came back to finish it the install. I have reached out via text, calls, emails and he has no showed over 20 times. His response each week is please let me finish the furnace install and then doesn't show up. Always says I'm working on the refund you'll have it by the end of the week. and it never comes. We suffered this summer with no AC thanks to this very unprofessional A Team and had to hire a new company to install a furnace at both property's now. He truly doesn't care about his clients or how un professional he is and has refused to provide his certificate of liability insurance. We have a huge hole in our brick at our primary home but the second home verified by another heating and air has to be completely redone and they questioned if his workers are even licensed to perform this work as everything is wrong and unfinished. Email is [email protected] AND [email protected] this has caused our family a great deal of stress and now spending even more money to correct the mess they left behind. Do not hire them. I just want my money back all $8400 of it.

We made a deposit of $1000 back in September 2021. It took until January 2022 for the supposed heater to get here. He made several excuses why he has not been able to come and install it. It's March of 2022 and he still has not been able to come install the suppose heater or even return our $1,000.

HE CAME BEFORE WE MADE A CONTRACT WITH HIM SINCE OUR HEATER COMPLETELY SHUT OFF. HE STATED THAT OUR HEATER SHOULD NOT EVEN BE USED SINCE IT IS MANY YEARS OLD. KNOWING THAT, HE FIXED THE HEATER KNOWING THAT IT CAN DAMAGE OUR HEALTH.

FROM WHAT HE TOLD US, HE PRESSURED US INTO BUYING A NEW HEATER BECAUSE THE OLD ONE IS A RISK FOR OUR HEALTH. HE STATED THAT IT SHOULD ARRIVE AND INSTALLED IN TWO WEEKS TOPS.

WE MADE A CONTRACT WITH THE AMOUNT DUE BEING $2,600. WE HAVE $1,000 OF DEPOSIT. WITH THE REST BEING PAID WHEN IT WAS INSTALLED. WITH NOTICING THAT HE WASN'T DOING ANYTHING, WE WENT TO HIS COMPANY'S (THE A COMPANY) ADDRESS 4195 S 500 W Suite 55, Murray, UT 84123. WE NOTICED THAT IT WAS ABANDONED. WE FOUND ON FACEBOOK HIS WIFE'S ADDRESS 616 W 810 N, Tooele, UT 84074. WE WENT TO THAT ADDRESS AND HIS WIFE SAID THAT HE DIDN'T LIVE THERE ANYMORE. WE DON'T KNOW IF SHE WAS LYING AND HIDING WHERE HE IS. WE HAVE ALL THE MESSAGES BETWEEN MY HUSBAND AND THE COMPANY'S OWNER ENRIQUE QUINTERO 8016806142.
