I did not respond and tried to get information on the company, but the information on the website was sparse. The next morning I received a text message from Grey People stating the same information and an invitation to google hangout.
and was told to "Reply back with (YES I AM) If you are interested! :)"
When I responded, this was the next text to me from Grey People:
"Our Regional HeadOffice is located at Headquarters: ohio, United States of America. We have locations all over the usa and currently working on setting up a branch at your location, that's why we are employing online, but when the new office near you is up and running, you can be assign to one of them that is if you qualify after the interview ok?"
This was followed up with another series of texts

Working hours are flexible,all activities and corresponding time are to be recorded in excel spreadsheet. As for your duties, i will assist you with any difficulties by email.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY:Tracks data and source documents.Prepares and sorts source documents, and identifies and interprets data to be entered.Compiles, sorts and verifies data for accuracy.Contacts responsible parties or clients from other organisation to resolve moderately complex questions, inconsistencies, or missing data. Also perform Records keeping, keyboarding/data entry and performing a variety of other office tasks account balancing, invoicing recording,proper data analysis of sales records and recording pay slips into accounting database all these will be done through the use of the accounting Software, such as faxing or emailing confidently and positive attitude online from home.
Can you handle these duties effectively if trained towards it?

There was more texting and I was told to expect a call the next morning. When we ended the conversation, I looked up on ScamPulse.com and found that one person reported this as a scam for money laundering.

Initial email: "I am Mr Lancelot Patrick, The personnel manager/Human Resource From the firm of StarRod Company The Hiring Desk of the company has reviewed your resume and we believe you have the required qualifications,You will be working online and from home, the working hours are flexible and you can chose to work from anywhere of your choice, the Wages is $25.95 per hour during full working hours and the training wages is $15.75 and you will be getting your payment weekly or bi weekly via direct deposit or paycheck and the maximum amount you can work a week is 40 hours.Reply back with (YES I AM) If you are interested! :)

When I asked what the position was that I was being offered, I was given the run around. Even when contacting through Google Hangouts, I was simply given a list of positions. I did not apply for any of these positions. When I asked if they had any social media pages, I was all but ignored and given the website.
-The start of the "Interview" asked my name, age, sex, location. I gave name and state and asked the reason for needing my age and gender. Did not receive a response.
-Being offered the position, "Below are the list of materials needed for this position since you'd be working from home: 4 in one (fax, scanner,copier and printer), Zebra ZM400 Bar-code printer and cards, 4 drawer cabinet and office desk,HP Pavilion HDX18-1180US 18.4-Inch Laptop (2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q9000 Processor, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB Hard Drive, Blu-ray Drive, Vista Premium) Peachtree Complete Accounting Software, CYMA IV for Windows Accounting Software, MYOB Business Essentials Accounting Software, QuickBooks Pro Accounting Software and a Time Tracker." and "You will get started with work ASAP,The company will provide you a free Hp laptop with a fast internet connection and your W4 form will be coming along with the working materials you need to start working with,you are to purchase all your materials from a certified vendor we have been patronizing for years now. You will receive a paycheck for the purchase of the working materials,the company's accounting dept will issue the check and have it sent to your house via fedEx,they will have it sent to the address you have just provided so i suppose the name you provided is same on your bank info ?"
All information provided is also on my resume. This just didn't seem right to me, so I started searching on Facebook and Twitter. Once I did that, I started searching the ScamPulse.com and found a similar interaction with a different company name under the Spam Tracker. I waited almost 20 minutes with no response when I asked if the company had a rating with the BBB, so I informed them that I was reporting their company name for fraudulent practices.
