This website "eapdeals.com" is claiming to be a Best Buy site in CA that's closing down and everything is first come first surve. And it says it's a trusted website and when I tried to click on shipping info and refund and request both options just pulled up "404 Page not found". The items your looking as on the website claims there's a certain amount of people being l viewing that same item as well as claiming a certain amount of people have the same item in their carts. It's a bogus website "eapdeals.com" claiming and fraudulently takin people's money under the business name "BEST BUY"

I wanted to buy some FILA shoes, so I searched FILA Portugal (that’s where I live) and the first site that appeared at the top was filatenisportugal.com, it looked very real and trustworthy until I received an email with random phone number that doesn’t exist and weird tracking site. I ordered one pair that cost me 70 euros and two days later they took me 70 euros again - 140 euros total.

Same as another post:

Description

I saw a Facebook ad from Callawaygolfs (emails have come from [email protected] - according to their website...Nova Limited Flat 1512 15 / F Lucky Centre No. 165-171 Wan Chai Rd. Wan Chai Hong Kong) offering 48 golf balls for $40 - a little cheaper than I could find on Amazon, so I ordered 4 boxes... I assumed they were coming from China, but about a month later I checked the order status in the email they sent. It said it was delivered - it wasn't. There was a tracking number - I asked my local Post Office and they said it was not a real number and was not in the system. I've been communicating with them and keep getting strange responses - this is the latest: Dear customer, Sorry to keep you waiting. The logistics company says the package has been delivered to your address. We shipped the wrong item. There should be 3D polarized sunglasses in your package, please find this package. We have lost a lot of money and we need you to find this package and we will send you the correct package. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us again. Best regards, Customer Service Center."

Dog bed for humans (bogo) from Bed, Bath & Beyond

iRobot Roomba

It’s so ridiculous that I fell for it. Lol. If it’s too good to be true . . .duh.

I thought I was ordering Jansport backpacks from Dick’s Sporting Goods but when I placed the online order the email confirmation said the company name was Lovelife Shop. I ordered two backpacks and didn’t notice they processed a second order for 6 more backpack until I went to look for tracking in my emails. I checked my bank account and they process two different orders totaling $95. When I track the shipment it shows delivered to Palm City, Florida. I’m in California. I sent an email to the email address provided on the order confirmation and they did not reply. I then checked online and read that this company is a scam.

Used bed bath and beyond website. Said they were wholesaling it’s merchandise. Offered ridiculously low prices. Marketed on Facebook ad. Used a fake web name

I saw a post on Facebook for Hoka sneakers sold by Dick's Sporting Goods for a significant discount. I ordered three pair for a total of $41.79. I had been frequently checking the tracking for this order. Today, I checked the tracking information, and it said the order was delivered on August 19,2023 to an unknown address in Palm City, FL. I live in Gilbert, AZ, and never received my order. When I double-checked the confirmation email for my order, and clicked on "Order Details", an "unsafe website" alarm came up. The background was entirely in red.

They made a fake costco website and used ads on Facebook to highlight good deals. Once you go on the site, it looks similar to Costco's website but you don't realise it's fake until the checkout when there are typos, grammatical errors AND you receive zero confirmation emails or follow ups. Looking at my credit card statement, it was from freedomnaisition.com which is a "clothing" website store.
