Received a message with no identifying information, saying an order was going to be processed unless I called. I called back, knowing it was probably a scam, and the woman said she was from Amazon's fraud department, and that an order of $1400 worth of Apple products were going to be shipped. I stated I didn't order this, she asked if anyone else had access to my account, I stated no. She then ran a "fraud scan" of my account, and came back saying I had several accounts under my cell phone number, and would I please verify what locations I had previously lived. I told her I wasn't comfortable giving out that information, since I didn't know if they were truly Amazon, and she said "Okay, you can hang up now". Reported this to both Amazon, and the FTC

We reached out to Ticketmaster to request a refund and the purchase new tickets and to verify who my wife was and that they had the correct ticket information they requested she send them gift cards and apple payments to a specific number. This was her first time purchasing online tickets and was not aware of the process. She sent them $3,000 in mixed Apple Cash and Apple gift cards and kept asking for more. Once I got involved and asked questions they hung up. All employees my wife spoke to (5 individuals) all had heavy Indian accents.

I came across an advertisement on Instagram that appeared to be from JoAnn Craft Stores about a clearance sale. I placed an order. I should have been more suspicious that it ended up being to a paypal account. They did a very good job in developing the website. It looked very legit. I should have known though based on the web address alone.

The caller claimed to be from Amazon and wanted to make sure that I was the one that ordered an Apple Mac Book cost $1499.00 when I said no, he wanted to transfer me to my primary bank to make a stop on the payment and stop the delivery to Ohio. He claimed that he got six banks on records but will not tell me the bank names for security. He needed to know my primary bank so he can transfer me so I gave them my primary bank names. A few minutes later he transfer me to "US Bank". This representative that claimed from US Bank after a few chats, asked for the last four digits of my SSN. I asked her what was her name again and where does she work with? She got uncomfortable and I asked her I wanted to make sure she is an employee of US Bank so I started asking her about US Bank. She claimed she was with the headquarter, etc. And I asked her where is the headquarter located then she hang up.

I was scrolling on Instagram and came across an ad from pink blush for a sale. I clicked on the Instagram ad and it brought me to a website. I added items to my cart and checked out. When I checked my email for confirmation, it was from “Habilarian.” I never received my order after complaining. They offered a partial refund that I never received.

This scam had another reputable companies website “Wayfair” and was listed an over stock sale, I did think the prices were low so I looked online to see if Wayfair had such sales, which they do. I offered something, received and email confirming the order. It ALL looked like it came from the original WAYFAIRS website. It was only when I looked at my credit card statement did I see a different name on the “purchase receipt” there is no address or phone number listed. I believe the company is located in China. Facebook SHOULD make sure they are advertising Legitimate businesses

I had placed an order with Big Lots advertised as a bankruptcy closing sale. I checked what I thought was thoroughly online googling scams with this info. I also looked for secure site endorsement. I placed an order, I checked daily and they posted the steps of my order until it was handed off to logistics/shipping company ( fedx) It never went past that step. I tried to contact someone all contact info is fake.
