This was an advance payment scam to reserve the pet. They wouldn’t share any pictures, veterinary records, or video evidence of the dog.

• Nov 14, 2023

I have 100 plus references that say differently, we have contracts and I ALWAYS send photos videos and offer FaceTime and vet records. I have looked in my records and have no adopter or even a an application by this person. I am a 501c3 rescue

Purchased two puppies that were supposed to be vet checked, shots and deformed. When asking for documentation seller was voiding giving proper documentation. When asking she jl forgot veterinarian records and would send in mail, hadn't received in a week through mail so she was contacting veterinarian to get paperwork again. Paperwork I received was she falselified and she forged the veterinarian signature stating treatment was done. She was caught lying about care. She was going to reimburse some monies back for service that wasn't done. She has blocked all communication. Have all correspondence saved from this scammer.

I saw their website and texted them to reach out about the puppies I’d like to purchase. John Arnaud replied and we followed up with email for more details. He called me so we can finalize the deal and asked me to pay for the dogs and shipping. I asked him if that’s all the expense and he confirmed. Gave me his Zelle account that is not enrolled so I had to verify and he confirmed he is legit. He gave me confirmation of my purchase with tracking number. He said the pups will arrive on the date and time indicated which was today. I didn’t know that the delivery company emailed me to ask for money for the crate so the pups will be safe during travel. I asked John why I didn’t get confirmation for tracking. He said check my email.

That’s when I saw they wanted more money. They confirmed it was refundable. I asked him why he didn’t mention about the crate and why he didn’t take care of that during our transaction so I only have to deal with him and not another vendor. He just said I will get my money back once they deliver the dogs and I have back the crates. So I paid $500 for it and then they emailed again that they don’t have that kind and I have to pay $500 more. So I told them I’m not paying anymore money and they can deliver me the dogs when they have the crate or they can give me a full refund. I didn’t hear back from both Pomeranian World and WWP who took another $500 from me.

I answered an ad for a bull terrier puppy requesting information. The person Josh Freeman immediately sent a text message to my phone with details around the puppy I was interested in. We corresponded via text and then I decided to drive to Colorado Springs from Hartford South Dakota to buy the dog. A deposit of $500 was requested and I made the payment via Venmo not Zelle as requested. Because of the back and forth around the payment and the different names being used I investigated the site and found using reverse imaging the puppy in question was actually in Europe and was several years old and had gone viral because of the unique markings. I cannot get my money back but this site needs to be brought down so others are not scammed by these people. There were red flags but I ignored them because of fell in love with the picture of the puppy.

My family and i were looking for a newfoundland puppy. We discovered Royalty Newfoundlands website, seemed very convincing. It was our first time getting a puppy this way. Puppy was 700 and the shipping was an extra 300. Total 1000. The puppy was to be delivered todad, last minute they called and said the "breeder" i bought the puppy from put the puppy in a crate that was not safe for the puppy to travel in, the breeder wanted me to pay another 1,000 to get the puppy a better crate because the airport policy changed(which the breeder should have known)I It not part of my contract to pay for a new crate if the one the breeder buys is not safe enough for the puppy. I refused to pay the extra fee, when i already had payed for shipping amd delivery. The "breeder" then was cursing at myself and my fiance because he wanted more money and that if we gave him the money he would then refund us back when the puppy got to us, to us that didnt make since. He tried to say i was legal owner and that i was responsible for it, when in reality im not since i have never had custody of the puppy and or have seen it in person. We only had picture proof of the puppy which he could have gotten from anywhere, we werent sure if the puppy was real or not. I asked for a picture at the airport and they told me no that it was impossible until I paid them another 1,000. Then i told them i wanted my refund since i would not be recieving what i paid for, they refuse to give my money back. They said i need to think about the puppy and that im not ready for the responsibility if i cant give them more money. I paid for the puppy over cashapp, i have reported scam to cashapp as well. The website says i can have a refund if i do not get my puppy but they will not refund me. They wont answer my messages or calls. They also were using other people faces on the website that i had found on facebook, i informed them and they were very upset since they did not give permission to pretend to be them and they happened to be actual breeders. The scammers had a very good website, application to fill out for a puppy, information on the breed, pictures, contract for health, how the process would work, until it got to the shipping part.

My wife was looking for a certain breed of cat and joined a private Facebook group. Nicole Schwartz is an admin and talked a really good game to my wife and even sending a document for her to sign. The fee was $700 to have it shipped to our home from Pennsylvania. The morning of having to go to the airport, we were told that there was a nanny service fee and a special carrier rental that was required for health safety reasons. We would get 98% back from the rental. Then, as we were sitting at the airport we we told that the stat of Michigan required a $500 fee to let the nanny off the plane with the cat. We asked for the plane itinerary and all communications went silent. The payments were made through cashapp to Larry William from San Francisco. We tried to stop the payment and cash app basically said that it wasn't their problem.

All of the admins here are fake.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

I would highly recommend Pet Transits as a pet transport agency. They were able to quickly establish a trusting relationship, persevere during tough times, and took great care of our dog. My fur baby Jasmine arrived safely in Wellington yesterday and we are so, so happy to see each other! Thank you all for all your work arranging her trip over the past few months. I was very impressed with your prompt and thorough replies to my questions, and especially with your warmth and reassurance during the whole process. Their ‘make it happen’ attitude and passionate understanding that Charlie is not just an animal, she is family blew me away. I received consistent and heart-warming updates during the current state of the world, flight delays, and personal workplace uncertainties. Despite the adversity, they juggled the constrains of veterinary protocols with love, compassion, and uttermost professionalism.

Is this true? Because i think I have been cheated too. Gone $700.

- Sarasota, FL, USA • Oct 03, 2023

This place is a scammer website

- Venice, FL, USA • Oct 03, 2023

Scammer has a website that offers German Shepherd puppies. The website is well put together with pictures of different families who have adopted from them along with short stories. We fell in love with a dog and decided to put a deposit down. The website says $300 will put a hold on our puppy of choice. The dogs were $700, and the balance would be paid once the puppy was delivered. The person we dealt with was strongly urging us to pay the full $700 that day even though it clearly states on the website they only need $300. We luckily told her we were unable to because earlier that day we put down a large deposit on a home after that is when things went downhill and we realize that we were probably getting scammed. The picture was not taken down off the site, and I decided to inquire about the puppy we chose from my phone, I was graded with the same information my boyfriend was greeted with she marketed the dog like he was still up for sale sent me the same pictures and was asking for the same $300. We knew at that point it was a scam. We tried to get our $300 back And she dropped off the face of the Earth. She stopped texting with us after we asked for the $300 back and we have not heard from her cents. I called my bank and advise I was scammed and they want me to provide whatever information I can in order to try and get my money refunded. this is pure evil and she should be stopped. The website shows business in Texas but when i sent the cash app $300 it went to Columbus Ohio. Lesson learned the hard way

I contacted an add on craigslist about a dachshund puppy for $350. I contacted the seller though text message and every thing seemed legit. They sent AkC paperwork, let me know how the paperwork would be processed and sent lots of pictures as well as video's of the same puppy. The person asked for a $50 hold. When he received the money he said. Hay I only got $50 I ment 50%, you need to send more money. We agreed I could send another $50 and pick up the puppy tomorrow, which is today. He has now disappeared and I have filed a fraud complaint with my bank.

- Cottage Grove, WI, USA • Oct 01, 2023

I paid 500$ for a beagle puppy with a signed contract plus 300$ for delivery to my home. The delivery co. Light delivery Agency had to have another 700$ halfway through supposed delivery said the dog crate was not acceptable so they would not continue with delivery until fee was paid I sent another 700$ through Chime app to Franceska Murray Threet of Portobeagle, Light Delivery Agency then informed me my dog was on its way to my home from Iowa I live in Wi I have not received the dog or any reason why not and both Light Delivery Agency and Portobeagle will not respond to me by phone text or email

They say they selling Pomeranians and Claim to work with you but scam you right before your second payment.

- Sarasota, FL, USA • Sep 28, 2023

I went to go buy a dog off of facebook for $200 is what the guy asked for. he then proceeds to tell me i need to make a $50 deposit fee for the dog to secure my spot getting it then the rest i will pay cash. After i sent that he then tells me i have to pay another $50 for vet costs and after i sent that it came down to another $50 for “vaccination” cost he claimed she got her last shot and i needed to pay it. It gets to the point where i said i need to see the dog before i send anymore where i already sent $150 and he then proceeds to hit me again with she needs more documents to go with her and it’s another fee of $50 and after i pay the fee i will get the dog. It comes in total to the $200 he asked for, paper work is filled out he has all my information on it and with him, my phone number, email, and address, for the dog which now technically is my dog and i did not receive the dog nor my money back when i asked for it.

the numbers and email he told me to send the money too for her documents and vet related payments for the dog

My aunt found their website and saw a picture of a Maltese she fell in love with. She contacted them through the website and they asked her to set up Zelle to pay a deposit but she was hesitant after someone warned her about the animal scams. I started looking into this myself and it’s a scam.

- Pooler, GA, USA • Sep 26, 2023

Scammer contacted me by text as figured out in the market for Maltese Pup. Yes too good to be true as price only 450. Demanded 200 up front which I paid. Was supposed to meet at a delivery point but cancelled. Then said for no additional cost they would ship to us using express logistics. I know this is not a real delivery company.

- Akron, OH, USA • Sep 26, 2023

Found site on Facebook. Paid 150 deposit for puppy. Seller came back next day stating we had to pay another 500 for the crate which ended up being only 300. Then they said they needed another 200 for insurance. Provided tracking number for carrier company. Carrier company then stated they need 1000 for FDA certification. At that point realize there was no puppy being delivered and reported them as a scam on Facebook.

- Middleton, WI, USA • Sep 26, 2023

I thought I was really buying a puppy. The scammer said whe was in Madison Wisconsin and gave me an address in Madison so I would trust her. She also gave me ab email for funds transfer, I offered an in person payment but she requested transfer online only and gave a phone #, but when I called it went to an answering service. Then the scammer said that her husband will call me. When I answered it was a guy with a heavy African accent. The number was from a land line in Sneedville TN

I ask to send a video of her puppies and closed the deal. The picture used in Facebook is from google pictures under "Davila Jayda."

- Long Beach, MS, USA • Sep 25, 2023

Inquired to purchase a puppy online and paid a deposit to have the puppy shipped to me. However, once it was reported that the puppy was dropped off at the airport I was contacted to pay an additional $1000+ to "upgrade" the crate or else the puppy could not be shipped to me. I would be required to purchase an electronic air conditioned travel crate. As my family has experience with playing with pets and I follow several horse racing social media accounts that document how horses are shipped on flights I knew this was not true. Therefore I knew I was scammed and would not be receiving any puppy.

- Beebe, AR, USA • Sep 25, 2023

I found the website bostonpuppy.org in order to buy a puppy. I was contacted by Victoriia Banakh by text and was sent to another website in order to complete the payment. The website looks very legitimate. I was arranging the delivery of the puppy and there was no response. I started researching the website and found others that were also scammed. This website needs to be taken down so that others will not be cheated out of their money.

- Amarillo, TX, USA • Sep 24, 2023

Claimed had puppy for sale; purchased puppy. Asked for money for travel insurance; paid 1,000 of the 1,500. Puppy seller paid 500. Said needed a different crate because the first was faulty. Paid 1,200 seller paid 250 to rent crate. Said ran out of crates for rent and had to buy it for 1,050 more. Paid 1,050. One of the gift cards refused to activate paid seller 200 via paypal. Contacted me and claimed they needed 1,270 for vaccinations and food and accommodation. Told them they were lying because I'm a veterinarian and know the state laws and price of vaccines. They cut off communication then.
