An attempt to purchase a chihuahua puppy. I was told I needed to pay a deposit by Apple gift card. Next day he needed another Apple gift card for 100.00 to pay the veterinarian. Last he wanted another 100.00 to get the puppy from the vet. When I accused him of a scam he blocked me on messenger

i sent a message to them about a puppy. They contacted me via email and text

i said i would come to get puppy they said it would be too stressful for puppy and they will refer me to local breeder in WI

they said they could arrange shipping of the puppy for $1050. i said no as i want to drive to get the puppy. I have been waiting for local breeder information....but it's not coming.

I contacted this person about a puppy for sale. I was told it was $300 and she wanted $50 for a deposit. I sent the $50. Then she said she meant 50% deposit so I sent another $100. Then she came back and said her husband said others had given them a deposit but were not interested in the puppy; they wanted me to pay the total $300 so I sent another $150. Then I got a text message and she said her husband had an offer for $500, that if I wanted the dog, I could pay another $200. That is when I said no, I do not want the puppy. She said she would return the money. I told her she had my phone number that she could use Zelle - the money never showed up. Then she texted me again and said if I would send $50 for gas, her husband would bring the dog to me. When my son got home, he reversed search the dog picture she sent me and it was a picture found on FB(Meta) that this dog had passed away. The exact picture. Such a shame. We are disappointed.

Looked legit for a puppy including ownership email transfer for a signature and puppy delivery via flight with fake tracking number.i got multiple texts from different numbers like (936) 277-5075 and (706) 755-8121 and this guy named James strayers number (346) 719-2672

Upon the delivery they asked for more $ for a cooled carrier and once I was unable to make this extra cost all communication ceased and the numbers went to a voicemail that said caller is not in service.they now have my name,address,phone number,signature and email plus $900

We were looking on websites that offered Corgis. We found Wrinkly Corgi Dogs and reached out through their website. We said we were interested in two different puppies and they contacted us through email, from [email protected], listed under Unconditional Love. We sent emails back and forth multiple times discussing the puppies, the time frame of adoption and logistics of getting the animals to us from Arkansas. There was the discussing of money, filing paperwork through a lawyer for ownership transfer and the proof of breeding papers. They sent us pictures of the 10 week old puppies and after a reverse picture lookup the exact pictures showed up on other platforms from 2021. When we tried contacting the people on the side, from other names and emails that were given, instead of only through the website we found they were all fake and not associated with the Wrinkly Corgi Dogs website. Unfortunately we had already sent a deposit of $500.00 to hold the puppies. We contacted our bank and opened an investigation. I answered a add for 2 pomeranian puppies. I picked blue and katy 2 females. She sent what i would recieve. I paid her 1050.00 for 2 puppies. She sent a receipt of payment, transfer of ownership of dogs, and the delivery information. They never arrived the next day got a call from a gentleman from apex global shipping saying they have my dogs but i need to pay 800 for suitable crates. The dogs were supposedly now in Louisiana. I asked for a refund. She said if i waited until today she would pay it and send them. Now shes saying someone has died. Help me

I was looking to buy a golden doodle named Ralph from Hartley Freeman. He has a website called Hartley freeman’s doodle worldwide. He told me that I needed to put a down payment of $300 on either Apple Pay or cash app and that he would send a written contract. I sent $300 thru cash app. He then said that I needed to send another $200 for Ralph’s food and other things. I said absolutely not, I’m net sending any more money. He was very persistent and finally agreed after several attempts that I would bring the rest in cash the next day.($300)

So on my way there, which was a 4 hour drive, he said can you please just send the rest thru cash app. I knew right then and there that this was gonna be a huge mistake. I told him no and that I was almost there. I got to the address where he told me he lived and it was someone else that lived there. I talked to the person that lived there and he hadn’t heard of Hartley Freeman. I told him that this Hartley Freeman used his address. He seemed very upset and I showed him the contract that Hartley wrote up and his address. He said can I take a picture of this so I can look him up and I said absolutely.

So I drive 4 hrs away and lost $300. He has changed his Facebook profile several times but using the same pictures. I messaged him and told him that he owes me $300 and gas money. He admitted to me that he was a scammer and said he would refund my money. He has not refunded me and I can no longer message him. It just says cannot send message.

Found her post on Hoobly.com she said she had 4 puppies for sale. Text her and she sent pics and videos said her deposit was fully refundable if need be. She gave me an address went to pick up and she was not there.

Was selling puppies online. I emailed them they responded. They sent me a purchase agreement. Then I sent half the money. The second half of the money was one they sent me shipping information of the puppy.

I purchases a pet online with (https://www.dobermanupskill.com) was told it was going to be shipped directly to me through a pet shipping agency that they use ( https://sterlingpetshuttle.com) was in contact via text and email with both companies. they kept asking for money when it came to shipping the dog and an issue always accrued. then i lost contact with them. They stopped replying to my emails and text. Phones number did not work.

I decided to buy a mini schnauzer puppy on 2/1/25. I looked online to see what was available and ran across Integrity Schnauzer Farm. I reached out to them on 2/1/25 they said they had one of the puppies I picked out. After receiving an email from them I felt this was a legit website and everything was good, so I zelled 800.00 to her for the puppy & freight, the next email I received, she said she was taking him to the courier to be shipped to me. I received an email from First Freight Animal Transport that everything was good and he would be shipped. On 2/2 they asked for 1,900.00 for a crate, which I sent in 2 payments. I was having trouble so they told me to send the balance via WU or Paypal to Greezmand Trevonds, I did finally wire it to DA' Moore Ventures LLC, on 2/3 they asked for 1,980.00 for insurance, which I sent to Javaris Woods @ Guardian CU. On 2/3 they wanted another 1,480.00, which was to be sent to Jacqueline Hartwhen @ BOA. I tried to send it but Chase fraud called me and refused to send it, they said that Javaris Woods from a previous wire was flagged as fraud, so at this point everything stopped and I have not heard from them since. There are several players involved in this scenario, please see below

I was looking for a tea cup poodle to adopt and came upon this website Family Teacup Poodle Puppies. Of course, I found a puppy I fell in love with and left my contact information so as to be contacted. The scammer then used texted me from the number I listed. He didn't introduce himself but sent photos of the puppy looking so adorable and quoted me $500 for the puppy and $150 for the "shipping." I decided to look at the website and do a bit further investigation as it seemed to good to be true. Upon further investigation, I stumbled upon a review of another individual that had been scammed out of the same $650 they quoted me. The website also looked cheaply designed and there is not much about them or ways to contact them other than you leaving your personal information (name and phone number.) Their reviews also look like a compilation of something they copied and pasted from another website. I decided to not respond anymore to this scammers text and the following morning, they texted again asking if I was still interested. I sad "no thanks," to which the scammer called me "an [censored] customer" along with other rude comments.

I contacted Richard Wilson on his website, King Papillons, to adopt a papillon puppy. He stated it would be $700 for the puppy and $300 for plane travel. He sent a contract and was supposed to deliver puppy on Friday. When sending request to pay he used 3 different emails and 2 different phone numbers. My bank stopped one of the transactions but one went through. Now the own has ghosted me. I lost my $499 deposit and no puppy is coming. My bank if asking me to file a policy report and a scam report with BBB.

Contacted Majestic Golden Paws to purchase a puppy. Paid them $900.00. They put me in contact with a transport company. They charged 800 for a shipping crate, 990 for insurance and 1500 for Covid testing and a scan. Never received the puppy.

I found this website while searching for puppies. It's a legitimate-looking site, and they sent pictures and videos as requested and answered all my questions like a regular breeder. They even sent over a contract and payment was made. Shipping information was sent. The shipping company had a legitimate looking website and the shipper reached out for their fees. Once payment was made to both the "breeder" and "shipper" i asked for tracking information and delivery updates for the puppy and have not gotten a response from either the breeder or shipper. It has now been close to 24 hours without any communication from either party. Payments were made via Apple pay to both accounts

They were advertising golden retriever puppies. They messaged us quickly and have a well put together website. They (HENRY OWEN) sent us pics of the puppy and we sent a payment through PayPal. Later that afternoon we had suspicions of a

scam. After we reported this to our credit card company and PayPal we are disputing this.

This person is pretending to sell dogs, but asks for unprotected form of payment via Zelle or PayPal friends and family before allowing the dog to be seen. When confronted with a buyer safe alternative, they begin ignoring attempts to contact.
