I was trying to buy a puppy. I wasn’t able to find the type of dog that I wanted in adoption centers. So I took to online. I found a site and it seemed pretty ligament. I did research and all was well. The person lives in Las Vegas Nevada. I live in another state and would be unable to drive to pick up the dog so we agreed to getting it shipped. They asked for $600 for the dog and $200 for the shipping fee. They texted me the shipping code to track. I looked up the flying company and it says online that it’s a 50/50 chance that it’s a scam. The people who were the transporters texted me and said there was a problem and to look at my email. It said that I need to buy a thermal kennel. I looked at the price and it said they cost $2k to rent. I wasn’t told about this price. I texted the people I didn’t have the money and they said they’ll charge me with abandonment unless I pay. I told them to take a picture of the dog and they sent me professional photos of the dog that just proves the dog wasn’t really there. I texted the dog seller and they told me they didn’t know about that charge and that I will need to pay for it to be shipped. I told them I wanted to call. They agreed and then they never picked up. Both the dog seller and the transporter have ignored my calls and messages.

This website pretends to sell boxer puppies. They do not have puppies for sale but will charge you for the puppy and then promise to ship the puppy for an extra charge that you find about later.

The website was selling Bernedoodles puppies. It looked like a legitimate website so I emailed them. They responded with pictures of the desired puppy and full details of the puppy. They had a screening process to determine the best fit for the puppy and I was accepted. They then asked for payment before delivery of the dog. Fortunately my cash app did not work and identified the recipient as a scam alert. I then asked salesperson to do a video of myself and him along with the puppy. Salesperson got accusatory and did not respond in a professional manner. He did not say yes to video call with the said puppy. I discovered it was a scam.

Looks like a breeder site. Once you inquire about avail puppies, Donald starts to text you almost immediately. The texting is broken english and some important questions I asked regarding puppy weren’t answered. Donald was overnight pressed to ship me the dog within 12 hours of communicating. I sensed this was strange considering we did not talk about set up for dog nor did he even have my name outside of my email address, phone number and state I was in. Overall it rang some alarm bells and I did further research on this breeder and turns out others had similar experiences. Luckily I did not pay yet or sign a contract with my signature give away too many personal details etc but flagging this company as a scam as it’s one of the first to pop up when you search for this type of dog breed. so cruel to do to people! please investigate

My wife joined a Facebook group for Golden Doodles, the Admin for the group posted several puppies available for sale, she signed an electronic contract and paid $400 for the security deposit. We received information for tracking and everything seemed in order until the actual delivery date. They claimed the weather caused a reroute and then stated that a special crate was needed to transport the puppy requiring an additional $485 payment, only accepted Apple Pay due to issues on their side. After paying the amount there was another delay they told my wife it would be today for delivery. After the designated time of 8:50am went by without any update she reached out again and was told that due to city regulation a dog license is required to deliver the dog to our house. When we pushed back against paying more we were told we have nothing to worry about that this would be the final payment. I attempted to call customer service and spoke to a man going by Abel Johnson who claimed to be the manager in charge yet I have an audio recording on the conversation and could hear him being coached by another individual to say that the service is bad then the call was disconnected

I paid $900 for a dog and then they demanded I pay an additional $1,540 for pet insurance at the airport to get the dog to me. I called the airport and no flights matched the flights she emailed me that the dog was travelling on. I used Zelle to make the $900 transfer. I am working on trying to get refunded.

My wife had purchased a puppy for me. She had been putting back for a while to get it as birthday gift.. After looking a while we came across the website and contacted Donald. All the reviews I found were good except a couple. He kept contact with us thru everything with no issues. We paid $750. Thru Venmo for the puppy then had to put down a $1500 deposit for a temperature controlled crate for shipping which said to be refunded once the puppy was delivered to us. Which no one said anything about until the shipper got involved. Then it turned out that the shipper used all of the small crates and needs another 500.00$ to send the puppy out right away. Or it would cost 25$ per day for a nanny fee. Signed contracts and we also have receipts. This fee included a nanny delivery service from the airport there to the airport close to where we live. They seem to give a tracking number but never is anything ever shipped .The breeder said he was headed to shipping company to see what was happening. After a few more texts and calls he stopped responding. Does not answer the phone ever. It was a very heartbreaking and these people need to be found. Please help! I do not want this happening to anyone else ever again. It's crazy to think that anyone can do this to someone. If you do reverse search with the pictures on there site the pictures are coming from other websites.

I was promised a puppy for $500 down and balance of 300 plus 300 transportation fee. I became suspicious when phone number and name of breeder did not match original info provided. Also puppy still showed avail able even after deposit was made should have displayed as ‘reserved’. Became more suspicious when breeder could not video call me with puppy. Wish I would have checked here first. Will work with bank to hopefully recover funds.

I paid for a pet adoption through Facebook, and the group admin used a fake shipping company.

They also use "luckysmallpawrescue.com."

The shipping company communicated via [email protected] with website of https://cargoexpressagency.com/wp/.

A fake shipping company a Facebook scammer uses lures people to pay additional fees using Apple pay, Zelle, and Chime.

Zelle account being used is +1 (346) 592-9724, Diamond Smith.

Apple Pay account being used is 1 (312) 866-4815.

Paypal account being used is [email protected].

Zelle payment of $600 on 12/26/2024

FTC fraud Report Number 181761880 12/28/2024. The website has no address or any otehr contact info on it.

This is a website that is Sponsored on Google. No address is listed on their website but on Paypal they use this address: 2211 North First St. Glenwood Springs CO. This is a scam and must be stopped! They are claiming to be selling Teacup Yorkies and when you inquire they send you a questionnaire to fill out with your address, home environment, etc. They corresponded with me throughout the whole buying process and then once I paid they stopped communicating and never sent me the dog.

Reached out to the website about buying a puppy. They sent very lengthy in depth emails about the dog and delivering the dog to me. Sent half of the money and said I would wait for delivery to send the other half of the money. He sent me pictures of the dog and seemed very transparent. As the day went on I never received any other pictures or any confirmation about the delivery. Found later that afternoon the dog was sold on April 30 from a different breeder in California, @************** and he was taking pictures from there page saying he had dogs to sell.

the website offered boston twrrier puppies for sale and delineey. the website came qith testimonials waya to gwt the dog shipped to you. it was when we contacted the animal shipping companies that we fell victim to a scam.

I was looking to buy Belgium Hollow puppy came across him and he said that he would sell me one for $300 and I sent the $300 and no puppy and then he wanted another $499 to put insurance on the puppy for the pet delivery and said that the delivery people had it and I had to contact them and then he blocked me

She asked for a 265.00 deposit. I agreed to 200. Then she kept demanding more money before i could come and get the puppy i was trying to buy. Fake AKC paperwork. Never got puppy or return of money.

Found a lady on fb who could guve me a morkie Cassandra Tina and all i needed to do waa pay rhe crate few of 200 which turned into 600 then 1700 they said theynwouldnt ship without insurance and wouldnt take venmo or paypal wouldnt go through becausw of security had to get walmart visa gift cards

No dog ever came

This was a puppy scam! Little Paws Boston Terriers had a website that showed puppies available, prices, and other information pertaining to each puppy. I contacted them and chose Snicker. I was asked to pay half down through Venmo or others, which I ended up paying through Pay Pal. The woman requested I mark them as ‘friends and family’ so the money could transfer quickly, as the puppy was going to be flown to Pittsburgh on Tuesday. The $ was sent. They gave me information on the transport company … pacific Pet Transport. This company gave me a charge of $215 and an additional $299 for a crate upgrade. I paid this as well. They then emailed me that I owed an additional fee for ‘City Permits’ bc they wouldn’t release the dog at our airport unless I paid that. I called the airport and was told there were no such fees. The puppy was ‘in transit’ and was to be delivered in about 2 hours to my home. We realized this was a scam at this point and started asking questions, to which we were given the runaround by many. In the end, the woman emailing me stopped sending me replies and the man at the travel company told me that he did t know what his job was about, that he was to take the money, turn it into bitcoins and deposit in another account. Clearly stealing from those who wanted to pay for a puppy in good standing. DO NOT BUY FROM LITTLE PAWS BOSTON TERRIERS or use PACIFIC PET TRANSPORT for any carrying service.

Website offered boxer puppies for sale. Asked for information regarding owning a puppy. Mentioned signing an agreement and then requested $750 for payment of the puppy and to schedule delivery of the puppy. Emailed with the seller multiple times, he sent photos and videos of the puppy as proof. Then on delivery day he sent over photos of the items he was including with the puppy for delivery. I received a call from 'West Shipping" and they were demanding that I pay an additional $2250 for a special crate. I told them that I was not paying the additional feel until I discussed with the seller. The man on the phone was very persistent and extremely rude and I had to tell them that he was acting unprofessionally and that I was hanging up. I tried contacting the seller Shams Delaney and have not received a response.
