Selling Rottweiler puppies sent money for for dog only to be told a special crate $550 was needed then hour and half before the puppy was to be delivered I was then contacted by Global Logistics that an additional $700 needed for "temporal insurance" on the puppy.

Scammer tried to sell me a puppy for $1,250 plus delivery fee ($1,450 total) - very pushy about the money - puppy was adorable but something in my gut just didn't feel right because she was so pushy about money and I was extremely busy at the time working from home and she just wouldn't let up calling me ma'am I asked how old are you? 41 - then why are you calling me ma'am - red flags all over the place - when I tried to Zelle the money my bank rejected it - I think because of her email address - thank God and when I asked her for her phone number she was reluctant to give it to me - another red flag!!! This morning I googled her phone number and found puppy scams and ScamPulse.com scams - I knew my gut was telling me something - how disgusting making money via animals - I let her know I'm on to her and I was reporting her!!!

The scammer has a website. I originally contacted the website about the purchase of a puppy. From there the scammer “Anthony” contacted my phone. We communicate through texts and calls. I sent the deposit. He continued the scam until day of delivery when he called early in the morning asking for last payment. Which was more than what the website said. When told that I would not send money until I received the dog. And if he didn’t agree to the terms to return my deposit. He texted ok. Then stopped all contact. The phone number is a “Google #” will not answer or text back. When I try to communicate through the website. And use the chat feature… he disabled the chat.

I put a deposit down on a Teacup Chihuahua and was told I could pick the puppy up in Omaha Nebraska. When we arrived I attempted several times to get an address to pick him up and have gotten no response. I have called, texted, emailed several times eveyday and no response

I purchased a puppy from Josh Freeman from his Family Raised Papillons website. I communicated via text and email with him for days prior to paying $970 for the puppy and puppy travel ($650 for puppy, $320 for trav el). I paid via CashApp. There were many red flags, however I continued with the process as the puppy was a gift. We signed a contract for the puppy, which I'm certain has no value. After accepting my money, Josh continued to communicate with me for a week. The monetary transaction was made June 21, delivery of the puppy was scheduled for July 1. I could not get details about the specifics around the delivery. On June 30, I told Josh that I needed the flight info and contact info in order to pick the puppy up. He had a "transport service" call me and the service tried to charge me an additional $990 to rent a crate for the dog. I refused to pay. The transport company was called Global Ship Cargo (email [email protected]). After refusing to pay any more money, I have been unable to contact Josh or Global Ship Cargo. There was an additional phone number for Josh Freeman (probably a fake name) on the contract (719.259.2522). After calling this number, this is an assisted living apartment complex in Colorado Springs, nothing to do with anyone named Josh Freeman or any puppy.

I am confident I will not receive any kind of refund. I am embarrassed and disappointed that I saw so many red flags, yet continued in the process. I would just like to make sure no one else gets scammed.

Thanks

This person claimed to be a dog breeder by the name of Richmond Henderson selling border collie puppies from his website: www.royaltybordercollies.com. He asked for my name, address, phone number, how many children I have, and closest airport to me so that he could ship the dog. I signed a bill of sale contract so he also has my signature now. He asked for payment via Venmo or wire transfer upfront, but asked me to send it to a different email address: [email protected].

Upon sending the money via Zelle, I spoke to a Wells Fargo representative that warned me that this is probably a scam, so I quickly canceled the transfer of funds. I am worried about this person having my personal information.

I had messaged this lady about a dog for sale, wanted me to send her the refundable deposit through Walgreens. She sent me a screenshot of a strand of message with another lady showing that that lady also used Walgreens to pay her the deposit and that she had received a dog from her previously. Messaged her on Facebook messenger and she said she was from Laurel yesterday; messaged her off my phone today and she said she was from Wynot.

Attempted to purchase a puppy off Facebook profile- Unique Dachshund for Rehoming. Seller seemed to be legit at first, but then became very persistent with sending a $150 deposit to hold puppy via cash apps- we were told this would be refundable. Once the deposit was made, arrangements were made to pick up the puppy at a safe location. Over the course of the next 2 days, this seller requested more money for ownership papers and stamps on papers totaling $290. When questioned about requiring more money for these "hidden fees" a video was sent of the seller claiming how honest she was- telling us to believe her. She also needed our names, address, phone number, and email for this paperwork. All amounts had to be sent to different Zelle accounts. Low and behold, the day of pick up the seller contacted us via messenger stating there is a family emergency and we can't meet, but the puppy will be delivered by a delivery service same day. We told the seller this was not okay, we did not consent to this- knowing another fee would be asked for. The seller made us feel like everything would be fine, by stating she paid for delivery fees. When asked what delivery company and for contact information, the seller said they would contact us shortly. It took hours before she provided a company and tracking number. I did recieve a text message from the delivery driver, he was very rude and inpatient- he demanded a $500 delivery insurance fee. While speaking with the seller, my husband tried calling this company- the delivery driver then called my phone saying he missed a call- demanding money to get the job done. I contacted the seller and let her know, both parties wanted me to pay the $500, because it was "refundable." I explained to both parties I could not pay any further money- the delivery driver continued to contact me via text message all day, even after I told him to stop harassing me. The seller continued to make us feel like we did something wrong and said if we paid part of the insurance fee, she would cover the rest and it was agreed that we were then even. We shelled out another $160, only to have the run around for several more hours. We asked for a refund multiple times and she keeps saying we are the bad guys because all we care about is the money- she was trying to come up with the remaining amount, so the puppy could be delivered. As the day gets later and later, same story. We even offered to just be refunded $310, but she then said shes out of state and the money can not be refunded.

They claimed to have a Maltipoo and be in Glendale AZ. They promised to have the puppy brought to the airport in my town by a pet transportation service and they promised to send me the travel info by Friday morning. On Friday morning they blocked me from their Instagram. They are still advertising the dog I paid for. The name on the Zelle payment I sent was:

Kristina Agase

Enrolled as KRISTINA

Inquired about purchasing Nunu from the website and was messaged via; text within a few minutes. Took a few tries to get an address for driving distance, but who knows if it is a correct address I received. Still thinking about making the long drive I decided to look on ScamPulse.com and sure enough someone was scammed on a puppy named Nancy. I replied to the person stating I would not be making the long drive that it was a Scam and showed on ScamPulse.com Scam Tracker. They replied with a not so nice acronym.

Used internet to search Australian Shepherds for sale near me. The web sight Australian Shepherd Farm came up and their sight was extremely slick and detailed. The sight had testimonials and a contact button. To contact it brought up pictures of puppies and you were to check a box for the puppy you liked and they would contact you. We choose "HUCK" and they sent us a huge email regarding info on the dog, themselves, pics and videos of the dog! Have over 30 plus emails back and forth and they stated they were located in Colorado Springs CO. We live in Northern New Mexico and they stated they could deliver the puppy the next day. The price was $500 to take off web sight and reserve puppy and another $200 upon delivery the next morning. Zelle was their preferred payment system. We used Zelle and sent the entire $700 to makes things easier on all parties. Next day no dog. Our daughter used the computer and found they had used a instagram sight from a guy in 2020 who created a page for his dog "HUCK". The scammer have since taken down their page and re-opened under "AUSTRALIANSHEPHERD-DOGS.COM". If you look at their puppys you can look at the 3rd dog a 13 month old male sitting infront of a black rod iron fence and zoom in on his name tag and see the same pic they sent us...."HUCK"

He will require you to make a 50% deposit to reserve a puppy or visit and see the puppy will offer you insurance in a low cost because they AKC registered . After you make a reservation and payment for the insurance he will not respond to any of your msg. The schedule meet up to a location where the puppies are supposed to be is bogus. He won’t respond to any msg, he was caught after using my other number that the puppy we agreed he already sold to someone else. Asked for the money to be returned which he said he will but never did and stopped responding to msg again.

My fiancé and I were looking for a Boston terrier puppy. We searched google for reputable breeders. We found a website called keilanibostonterriers.com and we contacted them about a puppy listed on their website name Ruby. The website looks legit. We had agreed that we wanted Ruby, but we were told that she was AKC registered and if we wanted the puppy, we had to pay a 400.00 deposit to start the paperwork to have us listed as her owners through the AKC before they could make the sale. They sent us an email with several photos of the puppy, made us give them our contact information and address. They then began texting my fiancé' and telling him how to make the payment. After several attempts, the 400.00 went through PayPal to Juan Zepeda- jzepeda220. Then guy who told us his name is Justin Wayne, told us his wife never received our payment, however it was confirmed that the money was sent, and the money was gone for our bank account. They are still telling us they have not received the money and that we probably sent it to the wrong person, however the PayPal username was linked to the same email address that was linked to the request for money sent to me from Juan Zepeda. We requested through PayPal that our money be declined and returned, and they refused. They will not answer us. They told us they are located in Tampa, Fl. However, we got a guy on the phone one time, and he sounded Russian. We are heartbroken over this, and we pray these people are never able to scam another person whether they are legit breeders from Tampa or not.

Then delivery company will send you the text .then you'll get the email that puppy needs a different type of crate that is fully refundable if you don't want to keep it after the delivery . She advertised yorkies for adoption. I Contacted her through Facebook messenger. Agreed on a puppy. She wanted a deposit of $350 which I gave her through zell to hold for me until July 12th 2023. She then said she cancelled the payment because of zell

Problems and asked for me to send again through apple pay. I Told her no and I would wait 24 hours since my bank acct did not show a credit back just the withdraw of the $350. she then said the next day it was an error she did received the payment after all and it was never cancelled. Told her I wasn’t comfortable with this adoption and wanted my deposit back. She had assured me she wasn’t a scammer just wanted good homes for her dogs. She then told me her daughter had An accident and she was upset about it and didn’t get around to do the refund. Later she Then told me husband having troubles again with zell and to be patient. I Gave her 24 hours and messaged her. She never even looked at the messages and removed me from the yorkie group which you can only get to when she sends a private message to that person. Reported to zell and also tried to post a comment on her page which she also deleted.

Saw puppies on Facebook. Messaged Teacup Poodles, Maltese & Maltipoo Puppies For Adoption's. Jacky White answered asking which puppy I was interested in, I answered Jason.

Jacky stated she needed my name, address, phone number and email address. I gave my information. We are asking $750 as adoption fee on both of them. I then asked what the process was and she answered what the process was and we will need an initial fully refundable deposit of $350 to start up with the paperwork and reservation. We use Zelle or cashapp. I sent the money through Cashapp. Jacky stated they deliver Fridays, Saturday or Sundays. Trust me, it will go smoothly, You will end up recommending us to family and friends. I was skeptical but proceeded to pay another $250.00. We agreed on Sunday delivery at 12:00. I waited until 1;00 and messaged Jacky wondering where they where. Jacky answered my husband must be stuck in traffic

Let me get a hold of him.at that point she went off line. I was SCAMMED!!!
