Scammer called around 2:00 p,,m, today 2/10/23 and claimed to be publishers clearing house "PCH" and said I won 8 million dollars and a new car which was going to be delivered to me today .I then called him on being a fraud and that PCH tells everybody they don't contact winners on the phone he got indignant then hung up .

Someone tried to scam me today (02-15-2023) as I was called around 11:15am from the number 412-501-3685 informing me that it was Publisher's Clearing House. The man had a country accent and sounded completely unprofessional. He stated that his name was Mr. Mike Henry, and that I had won $7,000 a week for life. He told me that he was 59 years of age and had been with Publisher's Clearing House for 22 years. He told me that they were giving away $2.1 million dollars and needed me to go open up a bank account so that they could transfer it in weekly increments. Yet, he told me that they were going to deliver it that same day to my home. He never asked me for my home address. He asked me if I dealt with Wells Fargo or a Credit Union. He also told me that the winning number was #369471. He informed me that the claim's agent to the public was Miss Debra Hollins. He told me that the person in charge of delivery was Andy Goldberg (Goldberb). He told me that the general managers of PCH were Shane Malcom and Patricia Patterson. He told me to call him back at 516-900-0846 when I was back home from opening up an account.

So, I went to my daughter's house to see if it was legitimate. She called both numbers back (412-501-3685 and 516-900-0846) from her own phone and both had a recording that stated that the text numbers could not be reached at the time.

About 2 minutes later, she received a call that said SPAM on her phone, but it was from the same location as those numbers. So, she picked it up. The same man that had been Mr. Mike Henry earlier, in which I had been speaking to, answered. She asked him what company he was from since she had received a call from that number. She acted like she had received a call from him. The man asked her what her name was. She told him Lisa, and didn't give a last name. He replied that his name was Mr. Baker (he had changed his name all of a sudden) and that he was from Publisher's Clearing House calling because she had won. She told him that he was a fraud and a scam and to take her number off of the list, and he responded with, "Ditto," and hung up on her.

Told me I won publishers clearing house and his name is Dave Sawyer wanted to bring me the Tahoe I won

A man called my personal cell phone, I said hello, he said hello. He said I won sweepstakes in Publishers clearing house & asked if I'd been notified. I said no. He asked if I knew of Publishers clearing house or entered the sweepstakes. I said I knew of them but had not participated in several years. He said I was the winner. I live in Arizona. I said no, I don't live in AZ. He said you have an AZ phone number. I said I know but I've never been there or lived there. He repeated himself. I asked who they were asking for. He couldn't provide a name. I asked what the prize was that I won. He said a cashiers check & a special surprise & asked me to write down some information. He wanted me to call a number & talk to his manager Mr. James Goodman is the name he gave me. The number (631)705-8144 Ext. 25 with a package number of 0017707/USA

He said his name was John Preston & then said Presser.

I know this is hokey but there are a lot of desperate people in this world who might jump on the fact they won some money. This is just wrong. Thanks for helping.

Received letter from Dallas Texas with a check enclosed for $7,950.00 staying I had won $350,000.00 and I was to call and receive instructions on how to receive the balance of the prize..I called and was told to deposit the check and then call back for more instructions...I recognized at once that this was a way to get my bank info..so I said thank you and hung up.. I called publishers clearing house customer service and they confirmed that this was a scam..so I am now reporting it to you...a lot of elderly people and others might jump on this check and be hurt badly financially! Thanks for the job you do!

I was called on my cell phone today by a person saying they were publishers clearing house and I had won the $7000 per week prize and having not entered the contest I was concerned it was a scam and hung up, and they called me again saying the same thing and asking if I was at home right now so I hug up again. The number that showed up on my phone call list is 518-501-0423 and it showed the call was from South Bethleham but nothing else. I hope they are not able to locate me by my cell phone as they asked if I was home right now or not.

Scammer said that they were with Publishers Clearing House and that I had won $3.5 million dollars, $5000 a week for life, and a brand new Mercedes Benz sports car. He gave me a registration number, a tracking number, a barcode number, and a few other numbers and said that a Mary Lee would be the person delivering my prize. He then said that I had to go to my nearest Walmart to get my first $5000 payment. So I informed my son and daughter-in-law about this. My daughter-in-law stayed at home and my son went to Walmart with me with his gun in case anything happened. Once we got there, I informed him I was in the parking lot. He told me that I was to go in and I was to pay a registration fee of $499. After telling him “NO WAY”, my son asked how many people had he scammed today. He hung up and we drove back home.

Won 3.5 million dollars and truck. Purchase 2 Amazon gift cards equalling total $999. And truck will come from Lima to give prizes. Heading your way now. So purchase cards.

I received a call from saying they were publishers clearing house. They told me I won $23 million, $5000.00 a week for life and a Mercedes. They told me I needed to purchase a $499.00 Vanilla gift card. I told them I didn't have the money, I told them I had $100.00 so they told me they would wait for me to go purchase the gift card and they would take the other $300.00 out of my winnings. I told them I would have to call them back.

- Dayton, OH, USA

Received a phone from Publishers Clearing House stating I won money and $5000 for life as well as a new Mercedes Benz. He was willing to drive me to the bank himself to collect the fee in order to received the prize.

- Pensacola, FL, USA

Received a phone call from David Sayer claiming to be with Publishers Clearing House indicating I had won over 400 million dollars, all I had to do was go purchase two 500.00 gift cards and wait for him to meet me at my home to exchange the gift cards for the prize. I'm an elderly person that lives by myself.

They called trying to tell me I won 2.8 million dollars and a brand new 20 22 Mercedes but then I need to send them $400 up front to pay the taxes and I know that's a scam so I hung up and they called back three times in a row but I've already been scanned before and I won't do it again

Got a phone call saying I had won $5 million and a new Mercedes and all I had to do was pay them $8,000.

Got a call from Publisher's Clearinghouse saying I had won millions of dollars but I had to pay $800 dollars to claim my prize.

I got an email that said I had won $2.8 Million and a new car. I had to send $17,000 to a bank in New York and when he said I needed to send another $17,900, I new I had been scammed.

A man by the name of James called stating I had won the Publisher Clearing House Sweepstake from a random drawing from paying my bills on time. He provided me a badge number and a tracking number. He instructed me to buy a Green Dot Card so he could send me $33,000.00. He said once we got that done, they would come to my home at 5pm with a new truck and a check for one million dollars.

PCH phone call stating that you won a Mercedes and 1.2 million dollars. Instructed to purchase a Vanilla Visa Card and load with $499. Then return call to above number with the numbers on the Visa Card before they could deliver car and money. Had my correct address.

Monthly winner of cash and car. Needed bank account, SSN, net worth, drivers license, and birthdate to give prizes after verification.

They called and said that I have won 18 million dollars plus a Mercedes Benz and that I need 3 forms of identification which was drivers license and 2 claims forms from Walgreens or dollar tree stores and it would only cost me 50 thousand for each one
