I spoke with someone claiming to be a Publishers Clearing House agent. They told me I won around $300 million. They told me to get a bank account and a credit card so they could wire the money to me. That didn't seem right to me.

I keep receiving calls on my cell phone claiming to be with Publishers Clearing. David has called me about four days in a row. I do not remember his last name. He said I won $18.5 or $18.7 million. Wants me to send $500 for taxes. One percent. I was to purchase a visa gift card. I did not buy any cards or send money. He asked if I was a senior. I asked what does that have to do with it. The number that aways calls is 614-780-5073. It is in my caller ID. I knew it was a scam when he asked for money. He wanted to make sure it was me. He verified my address. He already knew my address. He could have my package to me within the hour. He said I do need money for the taxes. He asked if I wanted it to be public or private.

Attempted to get $1500.00 a registration/processing fee for becoming the monthly winner. I have won 5 million dollars and a Mercedeez Benz. Receiving $7000.00 a month. Before doing so, I contacted publishers clearing house to verify the person who called was legit. Turns out the name he used was legit, but the person who contacted me was not. If you are a winner, they never contact you, they just show up.

I received a phone call indicating I won $3.8 million or $5000 per week for life. Asked me to send $378 for a registration card which I did not do.

This past week I have received several phone calls claiming to be Publishers Clearing House stating I won money. I don't have the phone numbers. I know these are scam calls. I hung up.

Received phone call from Susan Williamson that we won. Susan said she is with Publishers Clearing House and that we won $13,547.00 million, plus $10,000.00 a month for life and a 2023 GMC Serra Truck. She called from the phone number 516-518-3653. Susan told me that I needed to talk with Todd Sloan at the phone number 877-679-7865. They told me that I had to pay $3,745.00 for a gift tax requirement by a Certified Check from my banking account. The money was sent via my bank to Andrew Perrian with the address **** N Southgate Shores Circle Tamarac FL 33321. They called us back and wanted use to send them $13,200.00 and we became suspicious. I have now found from our bank that this is fraud. And we have called PCH to verify this is a scam. We believe the used they used Todd's name because he is a recognizable name with Publishers Clearing House. They also mailed via priority mail express all of the information that was given over the phone. The mailing came from Susan Tarrance 118 S 4th Ave Mount Vernon NY 10550. And Susan Williamson keeps calling us from the phone number 702-966-5056. To get more money from us and to tell us that we were to keep this confidential.

It was a 2nd place from a lottery that PCH "does/did" 1x per year. They had been attempting to reach me as an "unclaimed" prize.

Since I am familiar with PCH and have been for years, I was not on my A-game.

The person, Ashley Poe, even claimed to be a deacon of her church, would never cause harm, it is against Jesus, and worked for 22 yrs at PCH. She "was the manager of the unclaimed prize department," so she said.

Money was to cover interstate transfer of out of state prizes, as per IRS, and money was to go to IRS.

(It sounds stupid now, but made sense at the time.)

I received a call from David Smith with Publishers Clearing House Port Washington NY.. His phone numbers are 203-625-1921 and 475-265-2913. He said I won $2.5 million. I have had other Publishers Clearing House Scam calls. He sked what I made a year. They had to talk to the Internal Revenue Service to see how much tax I owed. He told me my tax would be $1216. I told him I do not tell anyone my personal business. I get these types of calls all the time. I know you don't get something for nothing. I hung up on him.

I received a call from someone named Gina Davis from Winners International. She said they were associated with Publishers Clearing House and I won half a million dollars and Mercedes Benz. They told me I had to pay $1000.00 in gift cards today for security clearance. She told me she was going to bring the car over personally today. She asked me if I wanted it to be private so no one tries to rob me.

I was left a message by Larry Cooper (LC) on my land line that he had a package to deliver. I called him back on my cell phone so I could have records of whom I called. I was told I won the $3 million award and a Mercedes (later told to choose and a red convertible was an option). I was trying to leave Anchorage, AK for a trip to Seward, AK, after describing my winnings which had all the trappings PCH usually gives away, he connected me to David Mufassah (sp?). DM then tried to get me to give away my birthdate, etc. to ostensibly fill out a Federal Tax Form. I refused to give him any information over the phone. I told him that I had to go but we could fill out the forms when they arrived. DM gave me a direct line phone number to the ScamPulse.com in Houston (346) 344-8392. He also gave me a package ID number that I was supposed to be able to verify with the ScamPulse.com since they were supposed to log into the PCH computer, use that code, and verify that I won the money and prizes (including a $250,000 bonus). I called the number and talked with John Dixon. I gave told him why I called and he asked if I was given a package ID number. I gave him the ID number but I didn't hear the characteristic noises that belong to a keyboard being used to access a website, put in a password, and input the number. Of course, Dixon came back on the phone and verified that I was indeed a Publishers Clearing House winner. I hung up and tried to reach the number of the real Houston ScamPulse.com to let them know their identity was being used but their switchboard choice menu would not let me access anyone and when I tried again it said it was after 4:30 PM and the office was closed even though it was on 4:05 there. Next I was called a little before 7 AM on 4/22 but I did not answer the call. I was called on 4/24, a little before 8 AM by LC. I was told about the prize again and told that I would need to pay a small shipping and handling charge. Since I wasn't willing to give any of my personal information over the phone, I would need to send that amount. It was 3-400 dollars and by the end of the conversation it was $400. LC strung me along by asking about the car I drove and what color it was. I told him I had a classic Dodge Ram in red. He then asked me what kind of Mercedes I would like, pearl white, black or red. I said red. He then said the car was available in a hardtop or convertible and I said convertible. LC then asked about banking accounts and I said I had several. He then said I would need to do a direct transfer of the $400 to a bank account. He then asked what bank I would use and I said Wells Fargo. He then said he would call back the next morning with the bank information for me to do the direct transfer. He gave me an ID number that was 1197. I'm sure he took the last 4 digits of my cell phone number so he couldn't forget it. LC did call just before 8 AM on 4/25. I asked for the ID number and he correctly gave it. He said that it would take them about 5 hours to get my delivery here and was I ready to do the direct transfer. I said I couldn't because the bank would not open until 10 AM and it was 7:50 here. He said okay, would I do the direct transfer then? I said yes. He said I would need to send a wire transfer to Account Number: 1211260896 Routing Number: 063107513. The name on the account would be Lee Ann Banton. I waited until 9 AM to call the FBI but they referred me to your website. I still have a recording of LC if you need it. He has a speech impediment. I filed the previous with the FTC. I was since contacted by LC on my cell phone 3 times. He claims that he is in Fairbanks, Alaska and is going to be at my place soon.

I wanted to report a scam call I received on my cell phone from Publishers Clearing House. The call came from phone number 509-631-9906 X22. Callers name was Mark Golden. This offer is only for the elderly. I won $.4.7 million and a Mercedes Benz. I would need to pay $3885 for insurance. I would need to pay out of pocket. If I did not have the money they would need to locate a sponsor. I would have to pay them back. I asked why do I need to pay if I won. He said I would need to pay insurance. Once I told him I did not have money he did not want to hear anything else. I hung up on him and called the Better Business.

Caller Mary Smith said I won 850k and 7k per week for the rest of my life also a cherry red Mercedes Bends. Told me to go to Wal Mart tomorrow and buy an American Express and call them back and they would put 7 k on the card and show up with a check at my door. I asked Mary what my address was and she couldn’t supply it. She just said she knew where I lived. I hope you catch these people so sick of scammers. Thanks.

I got a call last night from Frank Moss with Publisher's Clearing House claiming I won $17 million, $5,000 a week, plus a Mercedes. He told me the money was in a Wells Fargo account and gave me a number to call to speak with someone from Wells Fargo 323-342-5322. When I called that number I got a recording, I hit number 2 because it was for the Publisher's Clearing House. I was then connected to Wells Fargo. The Wells Fargo guy told me I was going to have to pay $80,000 to the IRS for taxes. He then dropped it down to $9,000. WHen I told him I didn't have $9,000 he asked me how much money I had. I told him somewhere between $1,500 - $1,800. He then told me to go to CVS and purchase two prepaid Visa Debit Cards worth $500 each and then send the card information to them. He said he would call me back today.

I was told that I had won 3.5 million dollars with a 2023 Mercedes. They were going to come to my house and deliver the prize but I had to make a 499 dollar deposit to a prepaid card and had told me to go to cvs and wanted to stay on the phone while I go there and give me instructions how to deposit the money into the card and I had said I don't have the money but then he asked how much I had but I had asked if you win something you wasn't suppose to pay for the prize he had said cause I live in Hawaii and they charge a fee for it to be delivered he had also said that when they delver the prize they can follow me to the bank cause they were vgoing to give me a 50,000 dollars in cash it sounded suspicious so I hung up cause he was getting angry and insisted that he wasn't a scammer that he was the manager of the company and was sending someone out from kaneohe ups to deliver the prize
