Company Name: Glov Beauty

Nature of the Complaint: Unauthorized Changes to Order, Overcharge, and Failure to Refund

On January 4th, 2025, I placed an order with Glov Beauty for two specific products:

One set of a 4-needle/bottle and 12-serum package for $149.

One six-month supply set for $198.

The total amount of my order was $347. Before submitting the order, I took a picture of the order for accuracy. However, Glov Beauty altered my order without my consent. Instead of the items I requested, they processed an order for three sets of the 4-needle/bottle and 12-serum package, charging me $447.

When I noticed the discrepancy two days later, I immediately contacted their customer service team and alerted them to the error. I received an email assuring me that the two unauthorized sets ($298) would be refunded. However, this refund was never processed. Upon following up, I was told that the order had already shipped and they would not issue a refund—despite this being their mistake, not mine.

To date, I have not received any products from this company, which makes their refusal to refund even more egregious.

Desired Resolution:

I am requesting a refund of $298, which represents the cost of the two unauthorized sets ($149 x 2). I only agreed to and ordered one set for $149. Since no products have been delivered, I also request clarification on the status of my order for the item I actually purchased.

Glov Beauty's unauthorized changes to my order, overcharge, and refusal to honor their promise of a refund constitute deceptive and unethical business practices. I hope the ScamPulse.com can assist in resolving this matter and holding this company accountable.

I placed an online for a book that I needed for a college class, waited for 24hrs to receive a tracking number. I emailed requesting a tracking number or refund, haven't received a response for either. waited later in the day and tried to engage in a chat and was left unanswered after they claim to response immediately. there is no number to call and ask questions and look for assistance. just feel horrible and very upset

I ordered three products (buy two get one free) from Klone Scents on December 2, 2024 as a Christmas gift for my son (located in Minnesota to be sent there). As I was tracking the product's shipment, it became apparent there was an issue. I contacted the company via email, and was told they were inundated with orders and it would take a little longer than expected. I was told 7-14 business days. It has been one month today since I placed my order; and my son has not received the product. The tracking shows the product initiated from Franklin Park, IL, went to international airport, then back to Chicago airport, to be sitting in Chicago since December 29. The delivery address is Maple Grove, Minnesota. The Co-Founder, Olivia, did respond to email. I was also told their company is in Texas. I've asked WHY the shipment went from Franklin Park, IL to international airport then back to Chicago airport, only to be sitting in Chicago since December 29. I've yet to receive a response NOR the product. I have today disputed this with my bank/credit union that I used to pay for the products.

Ordered on December 8th was supposed to receive by the 14th of December still have not received USPS warned it was likely a scam their customer service doesn’t respond and says generic things like your order is priority our shipper is having issues and won’t refund had to dispute with the bank waiting on claim to get money.

Advertisement for Prepared Hero came up on phone and I decided to buy them for Christmas. It is a blanket that they stated could extinguished fires .I never received a confirmation on order but they did charge my credit card. I never received them. I have tried to call with no response and emailed them multiple times with first they said that I had received them and when I said I had not received them they said they would send them again but I received nothing.

Casebus is a company that promises a return/refund and does not reply to customers who reach out. There are tons of documented incidents of Casebus scamming customers on various websites like Trustpilot, Quora, Reddit, etc. Casebus offers no way to cancel an order once it is placed, even if weeks have passed and they still have not processed the order (which is illegal), they also make it look like they are an American company when they are not. They do not answer their phone or emails, ensuring no customers ever receive refunds for their defective products. They probably owe scammed customers millions of dollars from all the false products they've sold and refunds they have denied. The cases are falsely advertised, and I assume many people purchase thinking they will get to return it if the quality is not up to standard, only to find they have poured money down the drain with this company.

Ordered a pair of shoes and was given a UPS tracking number.

Received notice that was shipped and sent.

Never received shoes.

Contacted UPS and was told that the tracking number package was sent to the correct name and address which was not ours.

Tried contacting the company and never received a response.

I ordered during a Black friday sale to be charged by them and emailed once but I have sent emails and never a response returned the phone number says google subscribers message they dont text or call or email back I orded in November and I have researched them since then and i really am having no luck at all

I ordered 13 fire blankets from Prepared Hero on 12/11/24 through Pay Pal. On 12/13/24 it was posted on my bankcard through Pay Pal.

On 12/22,23,and 24 I called them and each time was told to email them, which I did. ON 12/27/24 I called and the call was answered by a machine, but forwarded the call to next available. After a 5 minute wait, the machine told me that there was too much customer volume and I would need to email them- again. Next step will be contacting Pay Pal.

This company advertises on social media and I wish I had done more research before placing an order. I ordered 4 hoodies on Dec. 17, 2024. I paid for "first in line" service to have my designs in 24 hours. I did receive the initial designs within that time frame, but there were revisions that needed to be made. The first revisions were made immediately, then on the very last revision, they stopped responding. It is now 6 days later and the last design is still not revised. I also paid for rush shipping, in hopes of receiving the hoodies by or at least right after Christmas. The company has become completely unresponsive. I have emailed them and I have used their design-revision interface to request a cancellation and refund, because they falsely advertised a timeline that they clearly can not or will not stick to. The worst part is that they have taken my money and they refuse to acknowledge my emails and my requests for revisions, then for cancellation and refund. They do not provide any way for customers to reach them other than email, and they will not reply to my emails.

Cosair is not a legitimate company. They use other companies' products and sell them at a high markup. For example, their Cosair gaming headset ($140) is branded under the name of BINNUNE which sells the same headset on Amazon for 30$. They don't ship your product if you do buy these fake products and communication with them is little to none.

I saw a Facebook ad for pajamas. I purchased a pair for my daughters and myself. I received an email two weeks that have been shipped but it continues to say no shipping info. I have attempted to reach out via email, phone and their contact form on their website. I have not heard back.

Placed an order November 19, 2024. Received an e-mail confirmation. After that: nothing.

When viewing the order it shows it's been on the way since November 19. It is now December 18 and still nothing. They can't be reached by phone, which should have been a red flag.

I sent an e-mail and received a reply within minutes with the same answer as other negative reviews show (I had clicked on the wrong free delivery option which was for the Tampa area only). So I created a new order to find out where I had checked the Tampa area free delivery option. It turns out the free delivery is very misleading. The free delivery shows when you check out, but there is a down arrow behind that option which shows if you don't live in that area you will pay a ridiculous amount for shipping. Pretending you're in Florida but your office being in Wyoming is also pretty suspicious. I guess I will have to wait and see if I actually will receive a refund.

I replied to their e-mail stating how misleading the shipping options were and received this message: "For the past couple of months the promotions team has had issues with some of the promotions conflicting with each other. We hope to have this fixed soon. Thank you for your feedback. I will pass it on to the team."

I placed an order for skin-colored tights on wearesnugs.com website, with the expected delivery date of 12/18/2024. However, when that date passed, I had not received my order. On 12/19/2024, I contacted customer service to inquire about the delay. In response, I was given a fake tracking link with no real tracking number or estimated delivery date. The response I received was vague and did not address my concern in any meaningful way.

After following up with screenshots as evidence, I have received no further communication from this company. This lack of professionalism and transparency has left me with no choice but to initiate a chargeback through my bank and report this issue to the Better Business Bureau

I am extremely disappointed in the service, and I strongly advise others to be cautious when considering making a purchase from this company. The blatant miscommunication and unfulfilled promises are unacceptable, and I expect a full refund for the undelivered product.
