On December 15 I was looking for a chihuahua puppy online to replace the pet that had passed away. I found a website that had just what we were looking for. just below the picture there was a button that said (buy now). I pressed the button. It went to a form for me to fill out so the breeder could contact me. My name, email, phone number, and location. Approximately 45 minutes later I received a text message asking what the dog's name was that we wanted and wanted to verify who I was and a bunch of questions if this puppy was going to a good home. I asked for the location of the breeder. He text me back Macon Ga. I told him that it was to far away and thank you. That was when he said that I was welcome to come by and pick up the dog and she was still available. I told him I live in So California. he told me that he ships puppies all the time all over the United States for a reasonable price and we could have our puppy the next day. I asked how much. The purchase price for the dog was 650 dollars and the shipping was an extra 268 dollars total 916 dollars. and it all had to be paid upfront before he could ship the dog. He said he had to register the dog with the currier and have health cert, and vaccination records to be approved for travel. I asked how does he get paid. I was told several different ways and in good faith I Zelled 916 dollars to the email address he gave me. I questioned the email because it was not a company email address. He told me that it was his wife's and they were private breeders. I asked the breeder if we could ship the dog on Saturday the 17 of December so that someone would be home for the delivery. No problem was the response. I asked who the currier was and was told that once all the paperwork was in order, he just takes the dog to the airport and the currier service takes care of the rest. He would contact me with the curriers name after the dog was checked in. At 5:30 am Saturday morning I get a text on my way to work. I dropped the puppy of at the airport and the currier service will contact you with delivery time and tracking number. "Call me when she gets there. Congratulations on your new puppy". When I got to work I called my wife with the good news. She was very happy. Around 9am PST. I get a phone call from the courier service. the man told me that he had been trying to get ahold of me all morning and if I checked my email. I replied no I have been very busy that morning and I would check it right then and for him to hold the line while I check. The email read URGENT, ERGENT YOU NEED A TEMPERARY TEMPERATURE CONTROLED CRATE. Dear client the crate that was brought to us by the sender has been rejected due to bad weather. You need to rent a temperature-controlled crate for the safety of your pet during transportation to your home. There are two choices. The #1 crate is small for $1850 and #2 crate large for $2450. It should be noted that any money spent on the #1 crate is 98% refundable and the #2 crate is 100% refundable upon delivery. Sent by info@earo-intercontinentallogistic. I tried to contact the breeder but no answer. After numerous text and website contact info the breeder finally call back When I told Him what was going on he said that I'm the registered owner of the pet and my responsibility to pay for any and all extra shipping costs. I replied "I don't need that puppy and that I would like my money back. Then no response the shipping company kept calling my wife for a payment. My wife wanted to know where to send the money. she got an email address to an individual that didn't have anything to-do with the logistic co. She tried to send them the $1850.00 but the bank said new clients to Zelle could only get$500.00 per day. She called the breeder for advice. He said he would pay $650.00, the Wife pay $500.00, and I would pay the remainder and upon delivery I would reimburse $650.00 back to the breeder. I suggested since it was 100% refundable that the breeder cover the cost of $1350.00 and he could keep the total refund. because my wife Zelled someone $500.00 already. I didn't get a response. I have left numerous emails at the currier's website and at the breeder's website no response

Sold cavashon puppy dog, also required 2300.00 shipping with puppy at airport 2180.00 was wire transferred to purchase, puppy. we contacted pet shipping co. And was informed that it was a scam

My daughter found a puppy on the website diamondcavachons.com. We emailed about the puppy and they sent back other pictures and videos. When I said I was interested they said they could ship him and that we just needed to sign a contract. There were some misspellings and grammar errors on both the website and in the emails that kind of aroused my suspicion. I decided to look up the business name on BBB.org and couldn't find them. I then did a property search for the address they provided me in Mesa and the name on the deed was different than the names they gave. I could find no information about the names listed on the company or the company itself when i did a basic Google search. I am attaching screen shots of the emails. I'm glad I figured this out before I sent any money.

Contact seller through website, he sent contract. Then sent link to Upworks.com. I checked an upworks appeared to be legit. But after a lot of attempt to pay through Upworks and getting technical problems I paid $1000 through Zelle and $700 through PayPal The contract said that shipping was included. They were supposed to be shipped 12/6 but the seller said I had to rent a crate for either $4000 or $2800/crate. I asked seller to send me photos in crate and at shipper. He never sent.

Eden Garner was the name given by scam artist. Saw a puppy schnauzer for sale online at vibrantminiatureschnauzer.com

Sent $910 via Zelle with the breakdown being $210 for shipping plus $700 for puppy. I was able to get reversed from bank but. Beware of who you are buying from! This guy makes a new website weekly it looks like after investigating. With a new website every time.

Contacted website to purchase a Shetland Sheepdog puppy. Owner e-mailed be a contract which I signed and e-mailed back to him. Also spoke over the phone with contact person and with the help of my sister, we used Pay Pal(Venmo) to send the complete amount due (700.00 for the puppy and 375.00) for shipment to him. Promised the puppy would be delivered 4 days after we paid him and still have not received the puppy. Notified today that I will need to pay another 2000.00 for life insurance in order for them to ship the puppy. They would not ship the puppy without receiving this money. This information was NO WHERE in the original contract. Transport Company name is Express Pet Air Carrier.

First I went on Facebook found these groups that have puppies for adoption/rehoming. Messaged this group named “Mini Dachshunds Puppies for Adoption/Rehoming”. Luis Hernandez messaged me back about adopting a puppy. So we go through which puppies are available and I pick the one I wanted. Get contract all set up and signed. I sent the deposit of $450.00 for the puppy. The entire cost of puppy was $750.00. Balance was $300.00. Everything is good so far. Get to the point of delivering the puppy and here come another coat for a insurance policy in the amount of $500.00. I paid that. So the puppy is supposedly in transit to where I am. The puppy was being delivered. So when the puppy get here in my state I get an email asking for a city permit in the amount of $450.00. I said nope no more money. I was never disclosed of these other so called requirements. Of course I was told that if I didn’t pay this last amount for the city permit, the puppy was going to a rescue center in my state. That I had two hours to pay this. Or the puppy was being left at a rescue center. So I’ve been messaging Mr. Hernandez this whole time on messenger. So I ask for a refund from Mr. Hernandez and he would not refund my deposit. Or the insurance policy money of $500.00. That’s how I lost 950 but they tried to get a total of $1700.00 for the whole transaction. After the the delivery service Mr. Hernandez used, the business that asked for the amount of $450.00 for the city permit. I asked for Mr. Hernandez to pay for the city permit and he wouldn’t. So not sure if the puppy that was supposed to be delivered to me went to a rescue or not. I don’t know where the puppy is also have never seen the puppy in person. I have seen pictures. Then when I finally asked and kept asking for a refund Mr. Hernandez threatened me and my family. I told him that I was going to report him to the police and file a report. He told me that I better pay the police well to protect me and my family. I have proof with a screenshot of that comment. I have a lot of screenshots of our conversations on messenger. I have text messages from the delivery service. I believe I got scammed.

This person is a dog breeder and is trying to use my documents from health testing in my dogs to scam people. I blocked her on social media but keeps harassing my family. The name of the person is Rhonda Doss.

I never thought there would be a puppy scam. We bought little blossom a cavachon from Golden Cavachon’s for $1800. We sent $500 by Zelle Then sent the rest by wire. There was an excuse after excuse of when little blossom would arrive. Finally she was at the airport ready to come, and we were told the crate was not up to par and we needed to send them $2700 more to upgrade the crate, but we were assured by a contract that we would get the money back, when little blossom arrived later that day, they then told us it was too late to send her so they would send her the next day first thing. This scammer works very fast and is very deceptive. You don’t have time to think. Your puppy is at the airport waiting to come and if you don’t send the money right now, it won’t come . We caught onto it being a scam, and our bank called at the same time warning us they thought it was a scammer too. We had sent one zelle to one number, which supposedly was a daughter. And the wire to another name same last name, but obviously fake. They encouraged us not to send the last $700. We told the scammers that we would send them the $700 addition for the extra crate which we had already paid $2000 for when the puppy arrived. They then told us they would not be sending the puppy. I was trying to get their address, but they kept refusing to tell us where the puppy was. After they then answered their phone thinking we were going to meet them at the airport of which they were not there, and we confronted them with them being a scam. They then disconnected their phone

A week later another customer saw our name on their contract of which they had asked for before they sent any money. They were a lot smarter than us. And we were able to save them from being scammed also. The site is still up. And we lost $4200 of which we cannot get any of it back.

I saw them online. They had pictures of puppies for sale. I wanted a puppy so bad I felt for the lies. I sent them a little over $800 and they were supposed to send me the puppy. Instead they wanted more money for the crate to put the dog in. The price was$1749. When I went to Walmart I found out that they were scammers.

I have verified that the scammers were using Katie Roberts name and address to appear as a real person. I found them while looking at puppies for sale on the internet. They sent me pictures and viedo of the puppy. They wanted payment by Western Union. I used truthfinder to call the real Kathie and she said don't pay them it is a scam they stole her information. Likely they will do the same with my information in the future.

This business scammed me out of $600. The photos that they sent me of Margo were time stamped in my I phone as being taken in September 21, 2020 when it is September 12, 2022! I have been going back in-forth through email to get my money back and they keep giving the run around. They said they would refund but haven’t done it. These people have my name, address and phone number. Please help get this page shut down!

This scammer is charging dachshund puppy adoption fees as well as shipment fees. I followed this individual for over a year on Facebook with successful adoption stories. He charged me $1000 for the dog and shipment fees initially, then an additional $1000 for shipment insurance (they informed me the was refundable on arrival). The dog never arrived to me, I was informed an additional $675 was needed to get the dog permits at the Albuquerque airport, which is not a city requirement. This was all false and a scam, I should have known better. It is unfortunate people in the world work harder to steal than to earn a honest living.

It’s a typical puppy breeder scam. The want you to send a considerable sum before they let you see a pup. The person responding to my call sounded Nigerian

The breeder sells French bulldog puppies and goes by the name Marleen megan parker. On Facebook she goes by Coachmarleen. Marleen asked for a $1,000 deposit on each puppy, I asked why so much she said ok $1,000. We talked on the phone and she did video call showed us the puppies and all her 4 kids and seemed very nice and made us comfortable talking about her breeding practices. When we sent the money through Zelle her account was marked and funds didn't go through because she was flagged with suspicious activity so my bank intercepted the transaction after I had sent her the $1,000 deposit. My bank never released the funds even if it was through zelle (considered cash) and when we called so our bank would release the hold, the bank refused and told us the account we were sending money to was suspicious. When we asked the breeder Marleen, she asked us to use cash up and and after we told her to verify her adentity for safety she refused. I offered to pick up the puppies and pay in full when they turned 8 weeks old because of what happened and she said we were scammers and never to contact her again. The puppies were going to cost thousands of dollars and when confronted about her bank account flag for suspicious activity she blocked us. A normal person would have told us to pick up the puppies when they turned 8 weeks old and pay in full, Instead she refused thousands of dollars and blocked us because we decided not to send her a deposit after my bank intercepted the transaction. Most of her website reviews are fake as well and it's her same names different account giving 5 star reviews! This bussiness is suspicious and I was almost one of her victims if it wasn't for my bank! Because I trusted her and sent her the money. Beware! She's very good at talking and even has an akc website but her actions are suspicious. She is a bussiness and has no address, fake reviews, a California nunber and lives in Arizona. I can't believe I failed to see all the red flags!
