Scammer listed mini sheepadoodles - pictured puppies and had history of family business (Zeller family). Hector Zeller contacted me by email and text. Wanted to be paid by Venmo, Pay pal or Apple Cash app. When I requested info on sending a picture of someone holding the pup with my name AND address “Hector ” never responded back. Obvious scammer!

I bought a puppy from a guy on facebook that I have been friends with for 2 years. He said that he was getting a shipper to contact me about shipping the puppy. I had paid him $500.00 for shipping. The company called me and said they were part of American Airlines and needed more money. Then I cancelled and there was a cancellation fee, then the puppy was in my name and the paperwork needed to be changed back to the original owners name. Then the puppy got sick and they couldn't return to the owner. ETC...

Attempting to sell German Shepherds I found it confusing that they wouldn't let me go to see the dogs and when they requested the amount I told them I couldn't send it because my card was reporting them as fraud or scam and then today their website was gone and they are now using riversidegermanshepherd.com

Website for lovers of all.org to adopt a miniture Schnauzer seems legitimate. I submitted an inquiry and got a text and phone from a man with French accent. He told us via email that the miniture schnauzer is available and could not take care of the dog because of his new job even though he is also a dog breeder. Our dog just passed away and we used our emotions. So we agreed to pay for the expenses to ship the puppy via Zelle. Already a red flag when he changed the email address because he only provided his first name. He changed the email to [email protected]. He sent us a link to Unitedexpress. Org. With the tracking in which an online representative told us we need to pay for electronic crate to protect the puppy. We asked to pay via credit card but the representative only accepts payment via cashapp. The dog breeder kept calling and texting us to convince us. Both phone numbers are google # which will ask to provide my name. We are disappointed this is truly a scam because the puppy looks like it needs a home.

I attempted to purchase a puppy, and seller advised that they only take Zelle payments. He sent me a bill of sale, and I sent him the money, and was advised that he would be taking the dog to a shipping company to have the puppy delivered to my front door. I got a tracking number from Happy Tails County. A short time later i received an email from Happy Tails County stating the puppy needed a special crate to ship, and additional fee of $1,950, but 98% would be refundable upon delivery of the dog. I contacted the seller who advised to send him a request thru Zelle, and he would refund my money. He keeps refusing my request thru Zelle.

Austin James agreed to sell a dog and ship it for $800. The additional fees kept adding on like pet insurance and a special crate. Do not buy from him or use a shipping company called First Rate Carriers

Selling puppies online. The offer was to good to be true. The puppy price is much lower than the price in the market. I was not comfortable signing a contract and sending money without seeing the dog in person. Pictures are not sufficient for me to cough up that much money. Google the phone number that text me for the puppy and found previous scams.

Tami Jo Brian and her (boyfriend) husband. Advertised a dog for 2000.00 that was registered with the AKC but we never received the paperwork for the dog. Tami Jo Brain has taking money and also has now taking the dog. 1200.00 was paid out to these breeders. There has been no refund or pet giving back to us. This person actually committed burglary and came on my personal property and stole the dog.

I attempted to purchase a Keeshond puppy from the owner, who noted in the sales document the the initial payment of $950 would cover the cost of the puppy and the delivery fees. However, upon paying the initial fee, I was contacted by the supposed delivery service called Asus Express that I owed an additional $1550 to switch the method of delivery to put the puppy in a thermoregulated crate. They said the $1550 would be refunded as well upon delivery. After making that payment, the status of the delivery was changed from "HOLD" to "IN TRANSIT". However, not long after I received another email from Asus Delivery that they would need an additional $2150 for additional vaccines and transportation insurance. From there, I contacted the owner of the puppy about this undisclosed information, who proceeded to say that she would cover $550 of the $2150 fee as an apology and would only leave me with $1600 to pay. Fortunately, I didn't have that $1600 fee and asked all parties to refund my funds but was no longer contacted afterwards.

Went to website to look for dogs. Constant communication through email which seemed legit so I decided to purchase dog. Signed contract. Went over shipping information. Sent money through Zelle from my credit union. Had more communication the next day. I noticed dog I purchased was still on the website. I reached out about shipping confirmation and never got email back. Finally I asked for my money back in which they said okay but after that no more communication. My husband used a different account and they even tried to do the same thing except this time they stated only half up front. I have all my emails saved and communication. They even sent me a picture of their bank information where they received the money. The email on their Zelle is different from the websites email.

I tried to purchase a yorkie puppy from Meghane Williams on 12-9-22. The price was $900.00. I was given an address 2 hours from my home in Queen Creek AZ to Tuscon AZ. When arrival a man answered the door. I said I was here to pick up a puppy. He said I'm sorry I have no puppies here. At that point I know I was scammed! I have contacted my bank US Bank and they have denied my claim.

We were trying to buy a poodle puppy through Poodles for rehoming on Facebook. I'd followed them for months and they seemed legit. But they are not. Jenny directed us who to send the payment for shipping to. She asked us to send a screenshot of the completed payment and then supposedly she was going to start the procedure for shipping the puppy to us. I emailed her that we felt it was a scam and her only reply was "Got it". I posted a comment on another follower on the site asking I'd he had any trouble with payment or receiving his puppy and since then Jenny Wagners name can not be found on the site and I've been blocked.

When they got the dog they said she needed an electronic crate which was $200. It Was previously explained to me that the Dogs price includes shipping. So I refused to pay.

The scammer sent me several photos of French bulldog puppies that were offered for sale at only $1500. The scammer asked for $825 up front as a security deposit, and then promised to ship the puppy and provide a tracking number.

On December 15 I was looking for a chihuahua puppy online to replace the pet that had passed away. I found a website that had just what we were looking for. just below the picture there was a button that said (buy now). I pressed the button. It went to a form for me to fill out so the breeder could contact me. My name, email, phone number, and location. Approximately 45 minutes later I received a text message asking what the dog's name was that we wanted and wanted to verify who I was and a bunch of questions if this puppy was going to a good home. I asked for the location of the breeder. He text me back Macon Ga. I told him that it was to far away and thank you. That was when he said that I was welcome to come by and pick up the dog and she was still available. I told him I live in So California. he told me that he ships puppies all the time all over the United States for a reasonable price and we could have our puppy the next day. I asked how much. The purchase price for the dog was 650 dollars and the shipping was an extra 268 dollars total 916 dollars. and it all had to be paid upfront before he could ship the dog. He said he had to register the dog with the currier and have health cert, and vaccination records to be approved for travel. I asked how does he get paid. I was told several different ways and in good faith I Zelled 916 dollars to the email address he gave me. I questioned the email because it was not a company email address. He told me that it was his wife's and they were private breeders. I asked the breeder if we could ship the dog on Saturday the 17 of December so that someone would be home for the delivery. No problem was the response. I asked who the currier was and was told that once all the paperwork was in order, he just takes the dog to the airport and the currier service takes care of the rest. He would contact me with the curriers name after the dog was checked in. At 5:30 am Saturday morning I get a text on my way to work. I dropped the puppy of at the airport and the currier service will contact you with delivery time and tracking number. "Call me when she gets there. Congratulations on your new puppy". When I got to work I called my wife with the good news. She was very happy. Around 9am PST. I get a phone call from the courier service. the man told me that he had been trying to get ahold of me all morning and if I checked my email. I replied no I have been very busy that morning and I would check it right then and for him to hold the line while I check. The email read URGENT, ERGENT YOU NEED A TEMPERARY TEMPERATURE CONTROLED CRATE. Dear client the crate that was brought to us by the sender has been rejected due to bad weather. You need to rent a temperature-controlled crate for the safety of your pet during transportation to your home. There are two choices. The #1 crate is small for $1850 and #2 crate large for $2450. It should be noted that any money spent on the #1 crate is 98% refundable and the #2 crate is 100% refundable upon delivery. Sent by info@earo-intercontinentallogistic. I tried to contact the breeder but no answer. After numerous text and website contact info the breeder finally call back When I told Him what was going on he said that I'm the registered owner of the pet and my responsibility to pay for any and all extra shipping costs. I replied "I don't need that puppy and that I would like my money back. Then no response the shipping company kept calling my wife for a payment. My wife wanted to know where to send the money. she got an email address to an individual that didn't have anything to-do with the logistic co. She tried to send them the $1850.00 but the bank said new clients to Zelle could only get$500.00 per day. She called the breeder for advice. He said he would pay $650.00, the Wife pay $500.00, and I would pay the remainder and upon delivery I would reimburse $650.00 back to the breeder. I suggested since it was 100% refundable that the breeder cover the cost of $1350.00 and he could keep the total refund. because my wife Zelled someone $500.00 already. I didn't get a response. I have left numerous emails at the currier's website and at the breeder's website no response

we purchased a puppy from this breeder. Paid him in full for the dog and shipping fees to have the dog sent to california. Both the dog and shipping were guaranteed! The next morning the shipping company call and said that we had to rent a climate controlled crate for $1,800.00. I sent the shipper $500 and then i started thinking that this isn't right. told the breeder that he guaranteed shipping so why doesn't he pay for it, since it's 100% refundable. they kept pushing me to send the rest of the money so i could get my puppy but Once i started to question these two people, they became very scarce! they won't answer the phone, or text messages or the voice mail that I left. it got super ridiculous so I took him up on the dog guarantee and requested my money back. That wasn't happening either!!! so i got no dog and no refund! these two companies Havenly Love and Earo International are totally scam !!!!!!!!!

Contact seller through website, he sent contract. Then sent link to Upworks.com. I checked an upworks appeared to be legit. But after a lot of attempt to pay through Upworks and getting technical problems I paid $1000 through Zelle and $700 through PayPal The contract said that shipping was included. They were supposed to be shipped 12/6 but the seller said I had to rent a crate for either $4000 or $2800/crate. I asked seller to send me photos in crate and at shipper. He never sent.

My daughter found a puppy on the website diamondcavachons.com. We emailed about the puppy and they sent back other pictures and videos. When I said I was interested they said they could ship him and that we just needed to sign a contract. There were some misspellings and grammar errors on both the website and in the emails that kind of aroused my suspicion. I decided to look up the business name on BBB.org and couldn't find them. I then did a property search for the address they provided me in Mesa and the name on the deed was different than the names they gave. I could find no information about the names listed on the company or the company itself when i did a basic Google search. I am attaching screen shots of the emails. I'm glad I figured this out before I sent any money.
