Received the email and was immediately suspicious, I called Norton (with a number that I looked up), they said that the email did not come from Norton. The tech claimed that their emails would contain their name: Norton

I have received 2 suspicious emails stating that my Norton 360 Antivirus Protection Plan subscription has been renewed. I have no computer. I have no protection plan. It says the transaction will appear on my account statement. So far there has been no charge on any account. There is a number for customer service, but nobody answers. Even the address on the email suggests a scam. It's not a valid address.

Received and email from a Pamela Sellers (email address did not match name, nor was it from Norton), which had a subject of "Celebrate: Your Order Confirmation Has Arrived! 720955677." I opened the email thinking it may be something I ordered but quickly saw that it was from a Norton Imposter. Without clicking the attachment I was able to see it said "Norton" at the top. I did not download/open the PDF to attach here as I was unsure if it was infected.

I received an email that said it was from Norton saying they renewed my subscription for $470.00. I reached out to them and told them I did not authorize this and they told me they were going to issue a refund. They asked for my bank info, which I did not give them. They asked for access to my computer which I gave them. I thought I was speaking with Norton.

The email was received on November 20 at 4:57 am. Sent to my email but my husbands name was in the customer name. The letter said you have to call the phone number by the same day to cancel. They made it sound like we were renewing our membership for 3 more years

I received a text and then an email that appeared to be from Norton Lifelock Subscription about paying a bill. Stated my account shows a charge of $329. Security for my computer. I called the phone number back. 805-206-2156. He wanted me to get in front of my computer. I hung up. I did not pay any money.

Called them in regards to a charge to my debit card for the amount of $339.99. Was told to go on play store to cancel. Told them i did not have a subscription to norton and he kept asking me if i wanted to cancel and kept telling him YES. He started having other people in background yelling at me and also he stated cursing at me.

This person emialed me with an invoice receipt for a purchase I didnt author. So I called the phone number listed on the i voice and told them that this is not a transaction I authorized. He told me to get on my computer so he could help me uninstall some software. And I said absolutely not. So he hung up on me.

requested me to download Anydesk Remote desktop so they could connect to my phone. I refused to do this. They needed access to stop Norton virus from taking $449 out of my pay pal account

Said they were from Norton and my account had been compromised. yes I gave them my name and a few account numbers. then I was called by a second number. 726-333-9282 and said I must give them some money and they locked me out of my computer. Closed and called banks and several credit card companies to freeze my accounts. Had a specialist come and clean my computer and phones. hope this helps.

Kept hanging up the phone when I wouldn't let them have access to my device. I kept asking them if I made an account then what was my 1st name. They hung up on me like 10 times. I finally got one person to say my name and he said it was Janet Straw something like that. I told him he was wrong. He came back and said we know who you are Sandy. Again, I said my name is Cindy, not Sandy. My legal name is different. Through all this I got hung up on like 10 times. All they wanted was access to my phone and computers.

Receive an email that my Norton LifeLock Premium Support has auto renewed and I had 24 hours to call to cancel. We don't have Norton anymore but could believe there was an auto renewal. I call number 877-314-8259 that is on the email. He told me he cannot just cancel this as it was a 'commercial license' and is protecting the network. In order to cancel they need to have me download Ultraviewer so they can access computer and then turn it off. That is when I said no - they got more aggressive - I hung up on them. He called me back from 312-879-9196. I then told him I needed to call him back later. Then I noticed the email address was from Purchase Details and when I looked at the email it was from '[email protected]'. Darnit they almost got me and I am pretty good at spotting scams.

Received email saying purchase confirmed. Called number told that I needed to login to my account to reverse the charges. Told male that I don’t have Norton. He said if you’d like to cancel your subscription login to the site I’ll give you and enter your information. Told him his a scammer and that I’ll report him and he hung up.

Male voice, foreign accent - Indian from India.
