So I attempted to get health insurance yesterday. I tried blue cross blue shield because i wanted decent coverage, but fell beneath the income requirement. So i went online in search of Minnesota Care and googled it. I thought i had gone to the right website. It was sponsered and i hadnt noticed. I put in my Email, name and phone number. They called me from a number called spam risk. Thats not unsual because my phone says that about a lot of businesses. Well.. the lady on the phone was in a noisy area. All i heard was that she was with the insurance enrollment. She never even gave the name of thw company aside from "first quote" no websites and hindsight has me feeling pretty stupid. I gave out my social security, address, DOB, full name.. everything.. and she wants to charge my debit card 400$. Which she has the informatiion for now. I looked up the website and the insurance because shortly after getting off the phone with her i must have gotten 15 more calls all saying the same script and everyone online says they stole their i formation and its not insurance at all. Its "supplemental" but doesn't actually cover anything.

I am so upset.. I just want to be able to go to the doctor I'm sick and in a lot of pain. How cruel can people be? Please look into this. Idk that there is anything i can do..
