Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

Thank you for sharing your experience. I live in Alameda CA and they sent my mother the same bill but does not know who the doctor was and said that my mom had a biopsy on her neck. It was comedy because her neck is fine. They appear to have some superficial information about the day of her hospital visit, but was clueless about why she was there. They were also adamant to my our insurance card number. It makes no sense. Please be ware everyone.

Type of a scam Debt Collections

Received a letter from them saying "Final Notice / Collection Agency Referral" with the name of my son and a bill. There was no information on what doctor ordered, and what was the date of service. When I called, they said they would not provide any details unless I verified my son's date of birth. I provided (not knowing at the time it was a scam), and they said the date of service was my son's date of birth which I just gave to them. They gave a random doctor's name who requested the lab, but that doctor's name was never around my son, and after further research, there is no doctor with this name in our state even. They are doing identity theft, and collecting money from people who do not know better. They need to be investigated, shut down, and the people who paid needs to be reimbursed.
