I did not respond with to the message. I thought it was definitely too good to be true and it was likely a scam so I researched it and found other people had been getting the same message for many months.

I got a text message from someone claiming to be manual Franco a lottery winner. They said to text another number to claim my winnings. Then they asked for all of my information. Full name, address, phone number, occupation, married or single. That’s when I stopped and looked the scam up on google.

Same thing with me. Asking about my license and information. I think all these scammers need to go back where they need to go. Mine come from a message on my phone. They said to contact his agent whose name is Joseph David - 909-257-7641. If it would do any good to report these crooks to the FBI. I definitely would. How shameful ! Plus he sent a pdf to my email for me to fill out.

Contacted by person claiming to be Brad Harrison, attorney for Manuel Franco, the Power Ball winner of $768M. He is phishing for info from me because he's giving away $100K on behalf of Mr. Franco.

I’m here in Illinois and I got a text in group chat with 6 other random numbers. The text said that Manuel Franco was giving me $20,000 along with 300 other people and to text this other person named ALLEN to get my money. So out of curiosity I text them and basically he tells me it’s $500 now to get $20,000 delivered to me eventually...

Said he has chosen 200 random individuals to spread the wealth and donate $20,000 USD. Send text message to my agent Jeffrey Steven at 404-987-0434 for confirmation and delivery of winnings. So I text him and he wanted to do ID.me immediately. I said later and looked this up. Told him to get lost that I know this is a scam and that I would be reporting this.
