I have received a couple calls from the scammer citing the same callback number (887-875-5139) but originating from different phone numbers. Also citing the same reference number AHZ34578. The scam is impersonating a loan officer requesting a callback to confirm personal information.

Received this message on 1/23/25 at 10:56am and several times previously. "This is Jessica from your Loan Processing Team, we need to verify your income, etc. to process your loan. Please call back at 877-867-5139. Please remember to use your ID number blah blah blah. If you are no longer interested or would like to cancel please call and let us know. We would like to close this out by 5pm Pacific Time."

I did not bother calling because there is no business name, the number on Caller ID does not match the callback number they provide, and the "time sensitive/urgent/need to close out" is a giveaway from other scams that I have encountered. Caller ID number is (725) 323-0764

They keep calling me telling me that that I need to reach out to them for my loan application of which I have not applied to. The number on the caller ID this time is 502-787-7799 but the number they want me to call back is 877-867-5139. I repeatedly block them but they change the number they call me back from all the time. This has been going for months.

same message left several days this week regarding completing my loan application. What is concerning is that I do have a pending loan application, just not with this scammer. It's a clever message, providing an application number, requesting a call even if I am no longer interested, and advising that she leaves at 5pm. The call comes from different numbers, but the message is the same and the call back number is 877-867-5139. Despicable predators.

Similar to another person on this site, I receive calls from a woman named Jessica who says she's from my loan processing team and need more information to approve my loan. But I've HAVEN'T applied for a loan. The number she calls from is 645-203-0486, and she asks me to return her call at 877-867-5139.

I had a voice mail left by what sounded like an automated message with a voice calling themselves "Jessica" regarding a loan I never applied for. Calling my phone with 364-224-0840 and giving a call back number of 877-867-5139 and saying that they still need to verify my income and a few other minor items to finalize the loan. Additionally, the caller left a loan ID number of AHZ34578 for faster processing of the application (which doesn't exist).

In posting this I found that the caller number changes, as the one used to call my phone showed it to be located in Glasgow, Kentucky. But, I have seen other people who have reported having been called from a number located in Miami, Florida and another number generically located in the United States.

Here’s a transcript of the message that was left for me: “ "Hello there this is Jessica Brown from activate center my phone number is 833-914-0333

and my computer shows you still have some back taxes owed I'm calling to inform you you can now apply to have them forgiven but using the zero tax elimination initiative any back taxes are now noncollectible to this program however we do need to file it for this week so give me a quick call so we can handle it all for you it only takes a few minutes and it's really quick I'll keep your file open here so again my phone number is 833-914-0333 if you've already taken care of this no problem simply call back and press two to opt out of this list can't wait to speak with you."
