- Romeoville, IL, USA

Robo call stating that a law suit has been filed against me for a fraudulent tax return. Since I have not responded to their calls they now have issued an arrest warrant per voice mail message. I received these calls at least 3-4 times a week.

- Westerville, OH, USA

Numerous calls for "IRS" requesting call back from same number that called (724)302-5622

I called in frustration and did not give any information. Male voice threatened me of killing my family and other abuses.

There must be a tracking to the company that has made the call. This information was Broadvox-Clec, Llc - Pa

The the Callers company cannot be held accountable the carrier should be responsible - CONSOLIDATED COMMUNICATIONS ENTERPRISE SERVICES-PA.

It appears that the callers purchase groups of numbers. When they abuse the phone system they should be prosecuted. Also the proceeding of prosecution should be published and very high fines so the groups would end of threats to the public.

I got a phone call yesterday 305-328-8698, saying the irs was filing a lawsuit against me for tax invasion. I've only ever filed taxes once bc I am a stay at home mom. Please if you get any weird numbers don't answer them.

Robo call leaves a cut off message, usually only listing the call back number. If you do answer, they tell you to call back the number they are calling you from now. The robot says you owe the IRS money and they will be collecting it from you. I called back (they tried to scam me last year the same way). The guys just says hello - no announcement of who he is or what he represents. I immediately said take me off your internal call list. I know you are a scam. He talks over me saying "I'm going to scam you (or scam you)." Don't know which he said. I didn't care. Told him I'm reporting him to BBB. I hung up. He was still shouting over me.

- Monett, MO, USA

Got a call on my cell phone, the Caller ID said "Lyons" on it. They said they'd put a lien on my property and my personal self, like arrest me. I hung up on him. He had a thick accent.

They are making calls to people and saying they are the IRS and to call them back about some tax fraud you committed. They called our business.

I received a voicemail on May 5, 2017. It was an automated voicemail from the "IRS". I knew it was a scam and never called them back. I blocked their number from my phone and haven't received any calls since from them. I still have the voicemail.

- Topeka, KS, USA

The phone number calling has told me I have a warrant for my arrest due to a tax collection with the IRS. I am tired of receiving these calls. Please help.

Some man with an accent started a conversation about me owing taxes. I shut him down real quick by asking for his IRS badge number and he hung up the phone.

- Chicago, IL, USA

Voice mail message stating that the IRS will file a lawsuits or something like this, unfortunately I deleted the message, not sure exactly. I'm reporting this after viewing the Scam on Fox Chicago 32.

They call to tell me that the IRS is after me. I have requested 3 times to be taken off their list but the calls continue coming.

- Colorado Springs, CO, USA

I received a call from someone saying that they were the IRS and that they were filing a lawsuit against me.

- Baldwin City, KS, USA

This phone call came in on 8/1/17 at 1:08 p.m. The message left on the answering machine was that "this was officially a final notice from IRS, Internal Revenue Service, regarding filing a lawsuit in your name because you have tried to do a fraud with the IRS, Internal Revenue Service and we are taking a legal action issuing an arrest warrant in our name." Then they left the same number that I was to call that appeared on my Caller ID. According to the white pages, that number was one of little or low risk as they had no other calls about it and the number was from Alabama. Of course I did not call. I have received other messages regarding IRS but this was very threatening and they did not mention money but of course I am sure they would have if I had returned the call.

- Chicago, IL, USA

I rec'd a phone call (4 total so far) stating the call was from IRS and that (on 2 calls) there is a warrant for my arrest due to a fraudulent tax report I supposedly submitted. On the other 2 calls they said that they were filing a lawsuit against me for filing a fraudulent tax return. I knew it was a scam right off since I collect diability and haven't filed a return in years!! They had my name address, of course my phone and the last four digits of my social security number. Which I thought was odd. They said they wanted to verify the whole number and I told them if they got the last four they should have the whole number. I wouldn't reveal the first half of my social. I hung up and haven't received a call in about 3 weeks. I'm about due for another call soon.
