The number claims the IRS has been trying to reach me, and that this is a final notice. The robotic voice doesn't actually use my name, and I know the IRS does everything like that through the mail, not via the phone.

This lady called and said that she was going to send the Sheriff's out to arrest me if I don't call a number she left and take care of my account. They called both the house phone and the cell phone. She left a number and I hung up the phone.

I received a robo call saying they were from investigations with the IRS and their were issues with previously filed taxes. They said if I do not call this number in the next 24 hours, someone would be coming to my home to take me to custody. I knew my taxes were ok and that this was a scam.

I have been receiving calls on my cell phone from different phone numbers (e.g. 903-221-8630) from other states. When I ask who is calling, they answer IRS and then ask me for my name. When I recognize caller's accent is a foreign, I hang up. This might be a scam and they might be trying to get my information.

I have been called and had voicemails left saying I have a past due and need to call. When I call they say “IRS How can I help you?” then I said I don’t know I got a call from this number. They hung up twice when I said that.

they called me and said that I have a warrant for my arrest that I owed the IRS 8,395 then they began to ask a question about where, I worked, my bank, any investment company, and life insurance and they where very persistent about receiving this money

I received a call and was told that I was being investigated for taxes that I owed. They said if I did not contact them about this matter with in the next 24 hours, they would send or someone would come to arrest me at my home. I verified with the person who files my taxes that everything was ok and she informed me that this was a scam.

They call me and left me a message with this information I called the number and a female answer on first ring which I knew immediately that the irs has a voice information feature when u call and you have to choose by number

“Hello we have been trying to reach you this call is officially a final notice from IRS internal revenue services the reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file please call immediately on our department number 903-669-1629 I repeat 903-669-1629 thank you goodbye…”

I received a call from this company with a man who told me I owed $4,892 in back taxes dating back to 2012. The person did sound legitimate giving off account numbers. He did say that if I did not get a resolution to this or contact them, the police would be at my house in an hour to arrest me.

I did not answer. Female recorded message. I could not understand the first part but there are some kind of allegations against me. If I do not contact them, there will be more serious allegations in my name and the police will come for me,

I received a call this evening at 6:53 p.m. saying this is the IRS this is the last time we will contact you & you will spend the rest of your life in Federal prison . I did not do anything but hang up & block the call on my cell phone.

Received phone call from Asian accent person, that offered her name as Officer Kim Brown CP5943J/IRM1289l, saying that I had a debt against the IRS in the amount of 95000 from 2012-2017. She told me we could take care of matter over phone or they could send out my arrest warrant and have me jailed. Advised her I knew nothing about matter and that IRS usually notifies by mail. Woman very aggressive on phone, and makes threats. She sent my call over to her senior person, also Asian accent, Mack Rawlson 7539521, who gave me much the same information after having me on hold for several minutes. I advised him that I was going to call my local office for information and I hung up. I had been getting this calls about two months ago and they stopped. Now has started back. People are very aggressive and scary so can see people giving in.

I had a message on my answering machine from someone who claimed to be on the investigation team of the IRS. They left a phone number to call and said that if I did not call that number within 24 hours that I would be taken under custody by the local cops. The grammar / phrases that they used sounded like it came from someone who does not speak English as their first language. It was very obvious to me that it was a scam, so I did not call the number. However, there might be people out there who would fall for it.
