Someone saying they were with the IRS called and left a message on my recorder saying they had a warrant for my arrest. I knew that was wrong because we always file and pay our taxes. The call was from a 121 area code.

Good morning, Yesterday I received an A/C 214 call on my Bluetooth. I let it go to voicemail since I didn't know the caller. It was a lady threatening me with arrest over money owed to IRS. Left this phone number to call 214 329-9148. I saved the message in voicemail. Can you direct me as to whom I should share the voicemail and /or notify in regards to this call.

I received a voicemail from a number in Yonkers NY stating that I had a warrant for my arrest. I went to my local police department and asked them what was going on, they told me it was a scam. The number called me back and I told the person on the phone that I knew it was a scam and to leave me alone. The person told me that he was going to have me arrested that he was going rape my daughter since he knew where I lived and he was coming to the arrest me. I blocked the number but the police told me it was nothing they could do and just don't answer.

Claim to be the IRS saying you have income tax fraud and need to call the number right away or the cops will be coming to arrest you. Number they want you to call is 1 805 706 7827, Beware!

A male is calling and identifying himself as IRS Agent Jones. He states that you owe a ridiculous amount of money to the IRS and if you don't pay right away you will be arrested. Please be aware that this is a telephone scam, the IRS would NEVER call and demand MONEY over the phone.

I received a call from 202-655-3625 their was a gentleman on the line who stated that I had a warrant for my arrest because my taxes was filed incorrectly. The caller asked for my name and social security number. I gave my name but not the social security number.

Was told I have warrant out for my arrest. If I disconnect the call the athourities would be notified to come pick me up for 4 IRS violations. Was told I could face 5 years in federal prison was not provided anything in writing. Was told i am not allowed to discuss this matter with my family or even an attorney. Was informed i owe 5,820.00 but would not be asked for money the later in the call was asked for 1,000.00. They knew my place of employment and former employer as well as my current addresss.

8:56am today 7-16-18. Sounded like an automated voice telling me I owed money to the IRS. If hung up, it would be considered a deliberate attempt to avoid collection. I let the answering machine take the call and have since deleted the message.
