I received a call Wednesday at 5:30 from a man with an accent saying he was with the IRS and that I had been chosen for a $9,000 grant. He asked me how I would like to get my funds, either deposited into my bank account or western union. When I told him western union he had me call 646.397.3783 and I spoke with Ashley who also had an accent and she said I needed to go to Walmart with a pen and paper and $200 to buy a card. She said she would tell me what kind of card to buy once I got there and that this was to cover my deposit, which was refundable and would be added to my $9.000. When she asked for that, I knew it was a scam.

I received a call from a person claiming to be from the IRS. They told me that I owed them $2,715. They told me if I paid $1300 right now, they would not send the police to my work to arrest me. They made it sound legitimate because they knew the address of my employer, the person I spoke to gave an employee number, and also gave me a case number.

I have gotten several of these calls. I am a corporate tax accountant and I have ZERO personal tax issues. SCAM. Threats. I wish I could prosecute these jerks.

Caller stated was with irs and I owe back income taxes and I need to pay them asap or be arrested. I called the number back. A person with a thick foreign accent answered, "Hello. The ScamPulse.com." I told him I knew he was not with the ScamPulse.com or with the IRS and that I knew this call was a scam. Then he hung up.

i got an robo call saying that "a warrant for your arrest has been issued, it is urgent that you call us immediately at 206-279-2370 or the warrant for your arrest will be issued"

i called them and the guy that answered (heavy indian accent) had my first and last name, said that this is about my W2 forms being incorrect over the past several years and that unless i pay a fee to correct the issue ($400) that they would issue the warrant for my arrest. i told him i know its a scam and he said "if you believe its a scam then hang up" i didnt because i wanted to tie up their line (1 less person they can scam)

i told them i needed them to stop calling me, guy said "whatever" and hung up.

i googled the number and its listed around as a scam buy loads of people.

I received a call last night from the above number. I didn’t answer and it went to voicemail. They left message advising there is a warrant out for my arrest for Federal Tax Fraud, Bank Fraud. They want my criminal attorneys name. I don’t have any attorney. The had my name and both addresses that I have been associated with and even knew the amount that I did pay in taxes which according to them was short by several hundred dollars. I know the IRS doesn’t call anyone they only communicate in writing. But I am concerned that my identity may have been compromised.

They called my cell phone and then lefties me a voicemail stating that this is the IRS and that my taxes for 5 yrs. were put in wrong for line #7 and that l owed them $8140.00 and they wanted me to settle this matter now. So l asked them why didn't l received a letter in the mail from them and he started that it was and no one was there to sign for it and l told him that was a lie and he didn't want me to question him he just kept talking and l told him l was not paying nothing, then he said that he was going on with the court case and that they were going to send the marshals to come and arrest me, athen I said whatever and hung up on him.
