Called twice today & said to call their number or we would be arrested for four tax violations (or something like that). The number they said to call them on was the same number I answered and that was a recording! After the second one I called our tax guy & he said it was a scam that he & his wife both received a call today- 6/25/18. I am going to block their number from my phone! (They called my cell phone but I'm leaving my land line number below.)

Received an email from [email protected] saying [censored]hotmail.com was eligible to receive a tax refund of $375.95. In order to receive my refund I need to fill out a form where I supply my personal information. I am not going to, because Im under 18 and dont know my SSN

Michelle called me and said she was with the IRS and her badge number was 100713 and that there were several outstanding warrants for my arrests and the police would soon be coming to my house. When I starting questioning her a bit she hung up.

was contacted from the above number by person who claimed to be IRS - said i was on his list for "income tax evasion". i gave him little information. he asked for verification of address - which i gave him. said for me to hold for someone to talk to me concerning this matter. i immediately hum up and called the BBB.

I received a call Wednesday at 5:30 from a man with an accent saying he was with the IRS and that I had been chosen for a $9,000 grant. He asked me how I would like to get my funds, either deposited into my bank account or western union. When I told him western union he had me call 646.397.3783 and I spoke with Ashley who also had an accent and she said I needed to go to Walmart with a pen and paper and $200 to buy a card. She said she would tell me what kind of card to buy once I got there and that this was to cover my deposit, which was refundable and would be added to my $9.000. When she asked for that, I knew it was a scam.

I got a call from this number about a week ago and ignored it. Then it called me again and left a message saying I owed the IRS money and they were going to come and arrest me within 24 hours if I didn't contact them.

I received a call from a person claiming to be from the IRS. They told me that I owed them $2,715. They told me if I paid $1300 right now, they would not send the police to my work to arrest me. They made it sound legitimate because they knew the address of my employer, the person I spoke to gave an employee number, and also gave me a case number.

I have gotten several of these calls. I am a corporate tax accountant and I have ZERO personal tax issues. SCAM. Threats. I wish I could prosecute these jerks.

Caller stated was with irs and I owe back income taxes and I need to pay them asap or be arrested. I called the number back. A person with a thick foreign accent answered, "Hello. The ScamPulse.com." I told him I knew he was not with the ScamPulse.com or with the IRS and that I knew this call was a scam. Then he hung up.

I received an automated message saying I had a warrant out and that if I did not pay this crazy amount of back taxes that I would be arrested within the week. I then called back and it was busy constantly. Then once I finally got an answer they wanted me to verify all of my information and to give them a card mumber.
