A few weeks ago one my business partner went on the search for a new insurance company , she said someone recommended this guys whom claimed his name was mark Adams and gave her a quote for half of the price that we were paying and she decided to make a partial payment for the down payment unfortunately she had to be hospitalized and didn't finish the process, forcing me and my other business partner to get involved. My other business partner got ahold of him went over the policy , monthly payments and coverage. He requested the rest of the down payment claiming the policy was about to expire due to payment but said that the documents have been already submitted to the FMCSA . we agree to make another partial payment the by the way we asked to pay through zelle because said that the financial department had problems sending invoices at the moment that was a red flag but since someone else recommended him to us we gave this the benefit of the doubt since one of partners had already committed to it we decided to proceed but If didn't feel right at all that was Thursday last week I know it takes 24 /72 hours to show on the FMCSA Website , so Tuesday we got ahold of this guys so called mark and let him know that the website wasn't reflecting the new policy yet he said he would figure it out , Wednesday he emailed us saying he had contacted the FMCSA and that we was awaiting of their response, yesterday Thursday April 16 of 2026 I had contacted FMCSA to find out what was going . I Was not able to get ahold of them but he said he did and said that the FMCSA had flagged our profile for not paying the full amount of the down payment after we had already talked about the other $800 would be split up between the monthly payments and said that the account on hold because that portion of the down payment belongs to the FMCSA which is sounded odd to me , and he was being very very persistent on me sending the rest of the rest of the payment .also claimed documents had been submitted a while ago and the he said as soon I gave him the other 800 it would go on effect on the FMCSA website . So right there I knew something wasn't right . Today we called the FMCSA again , luckily they answer and They told us that no document for any new policy insurance have been submitted at all we gave them the dates and they confirmed that no one had submitted anything . So we called the nationwide becuase that is the company provided the Policy but big surprise no police number match ours , there was none existent policy under our company name or any of the partners, no records of them being and official agent or even a registered agent , the agent is not registered in California neither has a license, the address they put as office is the address for some apartments and the number is link to someone in texas mir life insurance . If anyone has more information please let us know . Leta put this thief behind bars . . Disgusting human being

I asked about DOD PERFORMANCE BOND for 100K

He said its 1000 for the year with a 500 dollar deductible he sent me an invoice. No credit check no nothing. It sounded to good to be true come to find out he's not on the government's list of people who can issue those bonds. Huge red flag

I'm looking for commercial auto insurance for my box truck and I ask for little information and he was leaving details out about the invoice. he claim website is down. i couldn't google his company. nothing was coming up. no proof this company exist, but he require $1900 down and 750 a month. The main thing he did he did not quote no other insurance for comparison or even mention progressive insurance and the first this any agency mention the only two carrier who deal with box trucking
