I have received this IR S scam at least 8 times. First one was about six months ago and was a different number 1 209-498-9493. This guy got angry when I called him out. He proceeded to start telling me he would come to TX, *** me and have me *** his *** At that point I hung yp. I have had several others and. I just hang up. Then this last time I recognized the voice and told him so. He again told me he wanted me to *** *** * **. I have them on tape if that would help.

- Garner, NC, USA

Phone call, voicemail, stating that the IRS is going to take us to court. I still have phone call voicemail.

I get at least 2 calls a day from someone allegedly from the IRS stating that there is a lawsuit against me for unpaid taxes. I have told them repeatedly to stop calling me. I have informed them that I was going to complain to the ScamPulse.com yet they don't take me seriously. I am really tired of getting all these calls. I hope you can help me.

Got a call from fake IRS threatening to throw me in jail if I didn't pay unpaid taxes.

- Kannapolis, NC, USA

I received a call from 219 985-3702 they left a voice message stating that they were calling from the IRS because the IRS was suing me for what I owe to the IRS. They kept repeating the same statement and to call them back. I know it is a scam because the IRS send everything via mail.

Man who said his name was Jeffrey Triviano. He said I owed $20,000 in back taxes. I used to be an auditor so I thought that tax people wouldn't call like he did but it really scared me. I have cancer and was let go from my job and this was the last thing I needed to hear. All of my tax info is up to date so this call really confused me. He gave an ID # of IR201589 and I noticed he had a foreign accent. I called the ScamPulse.com who told me it is a scam and there's nothing to worry about. Such a relief.

- Brent, AL, USA

I received 10 calls from 2 separate numbers. I didn't recognize the numbers so I let it go to voicemail. They left a message with an automated voice that " This is your final notice, a warrant had been issued for a lawsuit that was filed against you and to avoid being jailed for up to 8 years and have to appear in front of a magistrate you needed to call back immediately." I called both numbers back and both times was connected to a person with a thick Indian accent. I provided him a fake name and in both calls the person stated a phony badge number and said I owed a sum of over $5,000 dollars for misfiled federal taxes. I didn't have time to fool around with them, so I promptly stopped them and told them I knew they were a scam and that what they were doing was morally wrong. Not like that would probably help though. Both instances the person asked if I knew it was a scam, why did I call the number back. I told them I wanted to waste there time and hopefully talk to them about what they were doing and how it is wrong. They immediately hung up.

Attempted to say that I was in trouble with the IRS and that I would be arrested.

- Columbus, OH, USA

- Boise, ID, USA

It was a automated voice saying, "This is the IRS I have four allegations against me and that I should call their number. Within the time limit otherwise I will be arrested for charges."

- Pittsburgh, PA, USA

*** speakers posing as IRS Agents call and report that "you haven't paid your taxes in 6 years and there's a lien on your bank accounts and house." Then they ask for personal information, DOB, etc. One agent gave her name as "Alina Sen" and her employee number as "704961"

They hang up abruptly if the recipient asks any sensible questions. I didn't get far enough for them to be able to get any private information from me.

- Colwich, KS, USA
