A voicemail message was eceived stating the following: "This is a notification regarding your tax filings from the headquarters which will expire in the next 24 working hours. After they are expired you will be taken under custody by the local cops as there are four serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment. We would request you get back to us so that we can discuss this case before taking any legal action against you. The number to reach us is 215-383-2352. I repeat 215-383-2353. Thank you."

These people are calling individuals saying they owe the IRS and if debt isn't paid in 24-48 hours the police will come take you into custody...

I know it's a scam because the IRS does not contact you over the phone....I am doing this to help others that don't know fall victim..

Message left saying the IRS is suing me. Left #504-315-7511 to call and prevent this from happening. When I called the number and asked who they were they just kept asking for my name and my reason for calling. When I informed them that they called me first about IRS suing me and that the IRS does not call people and that they are a scam they hung up on me quickly.

They called me and said I gave the IRS fraudulent information and if I didn't call them back I would in 24 hours the US Marshals would be after me

I received a phone call from a woman with broken English that she was an officer with the IRS and that I was being sued. I asked where she was located. She said Washington D.C. I then asked her why she was calling from the state of Washington. She repeated herself that I was being sued by the IRS. I laughed at her and she hung up.

I would hate to see any vulnerable members of our society scammed into thinking they owe and pay these terrorists money.

I got a call from this number: 2142142691. They informed me that I should contact them regarding tax issues within 24 hours or I would be arrested by local authorities.

I received 2 calls today around 10:00 a.m. The message said they were the IRS and that I had filed false tax returns and that if I didn't return the call within 4 hours to clear up the matter the "cops" would be coming to arrest me because they have the evidence of the false returns.

The number that called is a recording that says to call this number 567-244-0011 immediately as they are from the IRS and we will be taken into custody by the police as there are 4 serious alligations against us so we must call this number immediately to pay our debt and get this resolved.

This company called my elderly mom stating they were from the IRS. They started that she has committed some serious offenses and were going to take her into custody if she didn't pay.

This number called my parents home phone leaving a message stating that they were the IRS and if my parents didn't call them in 24 hours they would send them to jail. I called the number back and they will tell you anything to try to get you to either give or confirm your identity, or to try and find a way to get money from you.

Don't answer or call the number back.

IRS will never call you.
