Accepted a friend request from someone I thought I knew from high school. She then messaged me that her friend got $50,000 from some H&R block giveaway. She said my name was on the winner list and to text Christopher A Tuney at (661)443-3547. I called the number and within a minute I received a text asking me for personal info name and my zip code.

Received a call from 567-245-4612, left an automated message that H&R Block needed me to call them at 888-421-3697. I called and they asked me to verify my name and DOB. Then told me that H&R Block never received payment for filling my tax return, and stated the exact amount I owed, and asked me how I wanted to make payment. I told them I was not going to make a payment that H&R Block had my information, and would get paid when the tax refund was issues. The individual then asked me how long that would take, and I responded that they should have all of that information. The individual hung up on me. I called the H&R Block office that I had filed my taxes with, and the representative told me that there would not have been a call like that asking for payment.
