I interviewed for a work from home position where I was presented an offer letter of employment. I was then sent a check for $980 which I deposited into my account and was asked to make a zelle payment to their vendor for software that I would need to work from home. I make the zelle payment to their vendor in the amount of $950 however a couple days later the check was returned for insufficient funds. I have filed a claim with Bank of America however they do not think they will be able to recover the funds. I have copies of my entire conversation on Skype with this company as well as the offer letter and copies of the check that was sent to me. I will also be contacting Career Builder to let them know that the company which is on their website is fraudulent.
