Individual greeted me while I was cleaning up debris from a storm. He gave his name as Thomas Hameline and produced a business card titled "Hibbard Roofing" and reflecting the info provided above. I contacted my insurer and coordinated a roof inspection with the claims adjuster from my insurer. Subsequently they sent me a check for over $4000 as partial payment on my claim. I contacted Tom and he came by to pick up my personal check for the same amount as the USAA insurance payment. Tom ask that I endorse my personal check to "Hibbard Construction" which I did. He stated the money would be used to purchase materials and the work should be started within the next few weeks.

I don't know if I've been scaammed or not but I can't find much info about them.
