Jan 31, 2020. Toronto — I last used my card at about 7:30 pm. Sometime between then and midnight, $99 just disappeared from my account.
The transaction description was " WWW*totala 99.00_V ".
I will see if my bank can give me the time of transaction but I suppose, I'm on the hook for it, and I haven't purchased anything online for over a year,
You would think by now the banks would have set up screening for any " 99.00_V " withdrawals.
I'll try to update this report if there are any further developments.

I recieved a notice that said because I was a valued Shaw cable customer, I won a tablet. I was to pay $3.00 and cancel any more payments or I would be charged monthly until I did. I sent the $3.00 and also canceled my more monthly payments and membership. I never received the tablet and two days later $99.00 was taken from my account by the same name. I have tried to contact the company, but, so far I cannot find it. I'm a senior on a limited income and that was my grocery money until the end of the month.
