The scammer asked for the Medicare and Social security number, which were provided. The scammer also asked health questions concerning back and knees.

The scammer contacted my insurance and billed them

Shortly after Medicare notified us via email that they were issuing new cards (about two years ago), we began getting phone calls to our wireless land-line asking us if we got our new cards. after I said yes, the calling person asked if I had any problems like back pain or knee pain and I made a joke about who doesn't at my age. They then attempted to get more details but when it was only about my back and knees, I became suspicious and refused to provide any personal information. They then said your doctor wants you to have a back brace and we will ship it to you, ok? When I asked the name of the doctor they mispronounced the name of my doctor, so I corrected the name and told them that she never said anything about this and would have discussed with me prior to that and that I never complained about a problem with my back. They said 'but mam it's free'. Now we get 6-7 calls a day, with fake names, and different phone numbers each time trying to get us to give them the ok to go ahead and ship us something we don't want. The scary part is that they know our doctor's names and our address and last September, I had to change doctors and they found out who that person is. We cannot get them to stop calling and now they say 'they are calling from the shipping company' but I recognize their pattern and when I asked if it has to do with Medicare', they get upset and say 'no it has nothing to do with Medicare'. I then asked them the name of the shipping company and I was told 'Brace Shipping'. I told them I knew nothing about this company. Most of these callers can barely speak English but cite your name and address and sometimes your doctor's name. I tell them that I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. We generally hang up on them but they frequently call back with 3 minutes. We pick up because we have some important doctor calls who do not provide the their names and business on our wireless land lines (we are trying to switch them all to our cell phones are not perfect (batteries can run down, internet connections may not be available, lost or stolen cell phones, etc.). And their are benefits using a wireless cell phone. I wish we could have a land-line that with security software (like a computer) to warn you that something may be a scam.

Called said she was from LSU Medical Health Regional Medicare Center asking for my Medicare number. Had all my personal info.

Pushing to sign me up for SS disability benefits of $2600. She said I made the inquiry, which I did not! When I said I was on disability (wish I hadn't told her that) she immediately hung up on me.

Though this Dentist’s address is listed as a network provider on United Healthcare’s website, they did not inform me that they did not accept my insurance when I had given them my information over the phone when setting up the appointment. When I showed up for my cleaning, they neglected to inform me then as well. As I was sitting in the chair (post x-rays, waiting for my cleaning), they informed me that I needed two fillings and it was going to cost approximately $300. I questioned why my dental insurance did not cover this (I asked, and they ignored me and asked how I’d like to pay), and assumed it may have only partially covered it. They required me to put a half down deposit (while I was literally sitting in the chair). After leaving, I had contacted my insurance provider and they informed me that my insurance covers most preventative care 100%. When I had called the office to ask for a refund and for my x-rays so I could take them to a dentist who actually accepts my insurance, they lied to me and said they’d process my refund and I’d have my money back in two business days. A week later, I call again informing them that I still had not received my refund. They said they’d get back to me and hung up on me. I waited two days and called again, speaking to the office manager and she stated that a refund was never actually processed and she’d need to speak to the accounting department and get back to me. Once again, she never got back to me. The last time I called, she refused to speak to me personally and relayed messages through her receptionist and told me 5-7 business days for a refund. Would not give me any sort of confirmation. Now, five+ calls and a month later, I still do not have my money back and my x-rays. This is an incredibly predatory, money hungry business and takes advantage of Medicaid recipients who cannot afford to dish out $300 on fillings.

Ordered ONE bottle, received confirmation for FIVE bottles for $200.00 the next morning and called immediately. Customer service claims it's "third party and cannot cancel orders or issue refunds, however once you receive the product you have a 90-day guarantee...". Website for customer service does not work nor come up at all. If you try to find the website from which the product is purchased, it's a needle in a haystack of myriad websites listed for this bogus company. Lies. All lies. How do these people sleep at night.

Like others, I got hooked by their low price and money back guarantee.

These hearing aids are terrible. They squeak and squeal (they even crackle when I turn on my range).

I contacted them and never heard back. Can anyone say “Class action lawsuit?”

I have had nearly 50 calls in the last few weeks about health insurance. I block the number and they use another one. I told them not interested do not call and they consistently call anyways.

This is the text message: Edwina, I got your request quotes. I have options here you'd be interested in, can I give you a quick call or would you prefer texting for now? next: message: Hey I found you some plans, but were you needing dental and vision as well?

I told them they have the wrong number, I am not Edwina.

Received several calls from local number (248) regarding health care as well and looking for personal information. 248-707-1846 is one of the most recent. But, they call back after I block the number, usually the last digit is changed on the phone number 248-707-1847 for example.

I received a call this morning from some guy stating his name as Joe and wanted to help apply for disability. I told him that I was not disabled and that I didn't need his service. He kept talking saying he wanted to ask me some questions. I stopped him and asked for him to repeat his name but he said he didn't say this name. I knew then that something was up and ended the call.
