Got a job offer and it is a scam.

I have gotten a job offer recently from this company and I asked if this was a text messaging interview and from then on I realized it was a scam. I want you to know I never applied for the position but they keep coming. I guess have my previous info.

I was contacted by "Michael Cramer, a recruiter for the company HCL Technologies" via text at 605.231.9098 who said that a hiring manager would like to speak with me to set up an interview. I was directed to download an app called Telegram and directed to contact Collins Wheeler by his user ID @collinswheelerHCL or by clicking on a link they provided. I was given a code to message him on telegram (HCL-A16) to begin speaking with him about a job. He, again, claimed to be a hiring manager. He asked me a series of questions that I responded to and was told that I was to message him the next day to find out the results of the interview. I was suspicious after thinking about this more but was even more so when I accidentally contacted him two hours late the next day and still got the "job". The very first question was about how I would like my checks deposited. I'm certain this was setting up asking for my bank account number, so I've decided to answer "yes" to the below question that they did try to take money from me. I did not give any information but asked him to verify that he worked for the company before continuing as I was concerned about it being a scam. They had provided a link to the HCL website and I asked him to direct me to his contact information on the website. I asked him what office he worked at so I could call. His only response was "This is 100% legitimate." No further contact has been made, although I did take screen shots of the entirety of both conversations so have a record, if that is helpful.
