Received this email today. did not reply, will not reply. never gave billing info and never had business with this company. wording sounds foreign ... scam no doubt and will monitor all my accounts for any suspicious billing. ... dead give away "Jeffer-son" and that name baaahaaaa from "Shameeka Meek" right... Americans are getting smarter and these scams are blatantly ridiculous. beware all ...!

My Name is Emma Dandridge, and I Want to File a complant against Geek Squad, they keep sendind me emails saying that I Have a Contract Renewal with them, I Have never had any dealing with Geek Squad period, and don't no anything at all about Geek Squad, and I am so tired of them sending email to my account, will you please help me because I never knew anything or heard of them, and how they got my email in the first place, I am a disable 78 Senior Citizen and my only income is Social Security and Recently had a Hip Replacement and healing from my Surgery. please help me. the email which is mine and it is [email protected]. I want click on it because I don't no if they trying to get my information so I move it to Spam and don't open it. please help me. Thank you Emma Dandridge

I called about an email I got that said I bought something that I didn't. Told me 19 min. wait but they will call me back if I want and I will not lose my place. An hour later I called back after telling 3 people my problem (none of them cared) I said this must be a fraudulent 20 mins. later they said it must be fake. I asked you aren't worried someone is using your name . Nope What kind of company are they. I will never shop there if that's the way they feel. ANTI-VIRUS

Received email 10/13/20 stating "You ordered "McAfee" Total Protection with VPN &ID Theft Protection Plan (1 year) for 5 devices. Your account has been pre-authorized for the payment of $429.00, as per the E-signature Contract signed by you at the time of registration. it also stated that the order was outside United States. If it wasn't me call toll free +1 (888) 350-7601 to cancel services within 24 hours. For setup and installation call our tool free @ +1 (888) 350-7601. Then Order details were given: Order ID#, Arriving Date, Shipped from, Next Due Date. It then stated you can login to your account to view using the details mentioned: my email address and a password. It also noted a deduction of amount will appear on your account within 24 hours. When I called them to find our who they were and why they were charging me when I haven't used Geek Squad for many years, they became rude and told me they will charge my account if I don't go online with them and cancel the account. Thanks to this website I figured they were scamming me.

THIS COMPANY GAVE ME A NUMBER FOR COMPUTER SERVICE #749479 FOR A YEAR OF SERVICE, I HAVE NEVER EVER BEEN TO BEST BUY OR TALKED TO GEEK SQUAD. I CALLED THE LOCAL BEST BY IN TWIN FALLS, IDAHO AND THEY ARE AWARE OF THIS SO I AM COMPLAINING TOO. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.

Initially the phone call said that I was charged $299 for my Geek Squad auto-renewal. Per the message, if I wanted to contest it, I would need to call 1-800-374-0827. As a current Geek Squad member, I called the number back to cancel the auto-renewal. They said in order to cancel my account I needed to get "online" and connect my computer to their "server" to finalize the cancelation. When I asked why I couldn't just cancel over the phone, that it was important that I connect my computer to their server.

I RECEIVED EMAIL THAT SUPCRITION RENEWAL BEING PROCESSED AND THEY WILL ME CHARGE $679.99 . IN FIRST PLACE I NEVER HAD ANY SUPRICTION WITH THAT COMPANY... AND I DO NOT WANT TO TO HAVE.. IN FUTURE. PLS CANCELL IT. NEED TO CALL THEM AND CANCELL OR THIS IS SCAM..

I never had their service. When I called she had me download teamviewer to talk with someone to help me. when they weren't available she was going to call back in 5 minutes. No return call received.

I just got a email asking to pay $649.99 for 3 years of Geek Squad service. I have not had the Geek squad for over 1 year I have not used my computer for a long time

9/03/20 Received an e-mail “Receipt/- GEEK- SQUAD. Your Package ID- KFOJS9 with us is Extended. For the next tree years at an Amount of $471.75 on 3- September 2020. Your Products- Premium Virtual Support and Security. Your subscription to Geek- Squad was successfully renewed. It gave these numbers to call-18774652672, 18444501844, or 18663249822. I did not order this nor have I ever used Geek Squad-Best Buy. I did however buy a tv online from Best Buy. So I called the first telephone number and talked to Frank. When I explained this to Frank he yelled “ I’m charging you anyway” and hung-up. When I called customer support for Geek-Squad, Jordan hung-up also. Had to call my credit card company and freeze my account. BEWARE SCAM!

I was contacted by e-mail : They tried to say I had arranged this 5 years ago and tried to get me to go to my computer. I got suspicious and threatened to report them to the ScamPulse.com and they hung up.

The phone number provided in the initial email took me to a person who tried to obtain access to my computer.. At that point I knew it was a scam and hung up.

Received e-mail that I was being charged an annual fee in excess of what was normally charged. His name was Shane Harper, sounded not like that name. Middle East or India. Phone # he used was 213-419-2567. He said he could refund more than we were charged since we were such good customer. Wanted me to verify that refund went threw, but our bank system said was down for maintenance so he will call back tomorrow to continue. Something didn’t sound right after call so checked my cards and NO charge on any of them!! Oh the billing Dept # we got was1 888-898-8723.

I received a email saying my account was going to be charged $399.99, Well I do not have a account so I called and it sounded like there were people taking in the background. He asked me to log into my computer-I told him that I do not have a computer. With that he hung up on me. I hit the redial button by accident and hung up. Next thing is I get a incoming call and he said his name is Michael and he can help me, I just need to get on my computer! Same scenario, he too hangs up
