Fax Roof repair Frankie's or Sal's or Flat Roof Specialists

In October 2023 received fax from Frankie's Roofing/flat roof specialists. Each week I receive a fax with similar flyer but with different phone numbers and names. No website; no license number -red flags in hindsight. Lead person sounds like he is from NY or NJ; is a fast smooth talker and seems to know the business, though he does not follow through and uses unacceptable materials. Workers drive a white mini-van and speak minimal English, if any. Paid for one job that was done fairly, but one part was not completed. Paid for a second job, which got partially completed with different materials than agreed upon. Never came back to finish the job. Lost $2800

I contacted this company to do roof repairs on home. They showed up once, did not remove old roofing material, painted electroplastic coating over the old roof. He stated that the product had to dry and they would return to finish the job. I have attempted to contact them everyday since, he answered once and stated that he was sorry and would be out the next Saturday. They did not show up and have not answered or returned any of my phone calls. He was supposed to supply me with a 5 point roof inspection for me to provide to my insurance company to ensure my policy renewal.
