Burned for $39.95

Thought I was paying for a fax app. When I discovered the mistake I immediately canceled (less than an hour after subscription). I was told via the website that there was a free trial period and the man who canceled my subscription said I wouldn't be charged. A few hours later there is a debit for $39.95. Where's the free trial period and why did you lie about not being charged?

Used QR code at Parking Lot to direct smartphone to website. The parking lot was operated by Parklinq. Acting as the parking lot operator, the scam required credit card information but weirdly displayed "Free Membership" to 'member.digitalizze.co'. After information given, it continued to request the same credit card information (without acknowledgement). It appeared to offer some entertainment service which would bill $39.95 later. My bank detected the activity which used 'thecontmini.com' as a source, and thankfully declined the transaction.

I kept getting these links from YouTube journal makers- they were for free printables, and the links would send me to different craft websites, but each one led to the same place/ this Digitalizze company- they want you to register - and the man they want your debit card info, they say in the page that they will not charge you but the first thing they do is take $1 - and after 5 days they will charge 39.95 and you can’t cancel online- you have to call- ontop of this shadiness, the $1 you pay doesn’t get you anywhere, you can’t get back to the page with printables!! Im sure they get away with this because initially it’s just a low charge, but it will add up to a lot more
