Same as what the person reported above, except I'm in Texas. Only reason I found this post because I googled the number they referenced me to call. I wasn't going to call anyway because I knew what they were suggesting wasn't true at all!

They called and said that they have a picture of my driver's license and that I took out a loan in 2015 for 5K and didn't repay it. I never took out any loan. They said they were taking us to court to file a lien against our home. We have no outstanding debts and our credit reports from all 3 agencies have zero bad reflections and do not show any such debt. They said we could settle it now for 4800.00 or it will cost us more to go to court. This is totally a scam!

I was told that I will be taken to court in LA, California.(I do not live in CA) If i wanted to to avoid the court, I could settle over the phone by making a payment. I asked for an address to where I could pay in person. I questioned why their phone number 855-622-0140 was reported as a scam. I was instantly called sarcastic and she hung up on me.
