I received this 2 pg. letter requesting $12.99 and they would send me $1,327.940. I contacted Publisher Clearing House...they said this did not come from them and do not send the required $12.99. I worked for a bank for 25 years before I retired 2 1/2 yrs ago so I know not to do that. I just am making you aware that someone is harassing senior citizens with this request. I would appreciate anything you can do to stop this behavior.

I received a notification in the mail.

August 31, 2016. What follows is what it said. It included a return envelope with the following address:

Processing office? Distribution Center

PO Box 2905

Kansas City, KS 66110-2905

What follows is just part of the 2 page document and a small, 2 sided flyer, listing rules, etc., just like a legit offer.

Received letter stating I won $2 million. Requested a one time processing fee of $11.89. Did not sit right with me so went to the internet and searched the company. Only thing I found were complaints about this company. Sorry to hear about all those who sent in the "one time processing fee", only to find out they kept asking for more money.

The letter said I had won either 1,327,940.00 or 2,000,000.00 all I had to do was send them $12.99 and second page with the numbers to win.

The scam is a letter that says you have won $1,327,940.00. It says to choose an option of payment, sign your name send a check for $11.89 for DELVERY CHARGES, and rerun the bottom portion of the letter with you choice of payment. Also look out for the statement that NO TAXES are taken out of the winnings.

Letter arrived by mail, states I have won $1,327,940.00. In order to claim I must send a premium offer fee of $12.99 payable to the office of ANC.

The small print states if you want your name withheld (as a winner) call 913 338 1823, or write to Nextgen Inc., Customer Service, P O Box 7069, Shawnee Mission, Kansas 66207

It encloses a reply envelope.

I did not send any money.

I received a letter stating that I am a winner for a prize award of $1,327,940.00 lump sum or $2,000,000.00 30-year annuity. The letter is asking for me to send $11.89 to cover Acquisition fee. The initials for the company is ANC, Kansas City, Kansas. Please catch these stammered because I sure someone else out there has fallen for this unhumane bull!!!

Envelope says "PROCESSING OFFICE/DISTRIBUTION CENTER PO BOX 2905 KANSAS CITY, KA 66110-2905"

It even has "Grand Prize Sweepstakes XVI Official Rules"

Not sure if this is a SCAM or not, but I will upload what I have received - also says :An Acquisition Fee for Premium Offer is due and must be enclosed as required for $13.89 payable to the office of ANC....

Letter stated I have won $1,327,940.00, however, to claim the prize, I needed to send $12.99. No indication of how I won the prize, and from what organization it is from.

I want to know if this is ligitimate or a scam!!! I sent no money and did not reply because I was not sure if this was a scam or not.
