Michael Peters stated he was an officer with the consumer protection agency. He said that consumer had won a prize of a large sum of money. The number he provided her to contact back 702-997-1422 to verify that she was the winner of the sweepstakes. He was trying to schedule a time that she would be home to receive documentation for her prize. Consumer states that Michael Peters appear to be calling from a call center and had a heavy accent.

I received a call from Marcus Bailey of the American Dream Sweepstakes stating that I had won 2nd place drawing in the amount of $1.25 Million. He stated that I would need to pay taxes in the amount of $1250 via Western Union. I then spoke to Brandon Rodrequez of Federal Warehouse that would be delivering my check.

Recording stated I had won 2nd prize of $950,000. Wanted me to call back at 718-247-3280. I did not.

Received a call I had won money and needed to wire funds to the address listed above in the amount of $300 so they can release check to me. Was told I would receive my check via Fedex later the same day. Was told I had already sent $500 to them, which I had not.
