Too good to be true

He asked to have everything done on email. And the fee of $1. Which is unheard of. He asked how many people would live, our monthly income and our credit score. He wanted us to see our credit score and screen shot to him. It makes me sad when people aka scammers try to get over on people. This home that was supposedly for rent was on (824 E Longview Ave, Stockton, CA) $1,034 a month. I found the ad on Craigslist

I called 916-507-0527 answering a for rent ad. They said the property was for rent and asked for my email address so they could send me additional information on the property. When I asked to set up an appointment to view the property, I was told they needed me to respond with the information they were requesting first. I became suspicious because the person was from out of state (or so they claimed) and they would not respond to any of my questions. I did call Coldwell Banker, the listing company for the property and they told me the property is not for rent. This is a rental scam. (property located @ 5664 N. Providence Ave. which was advertised/listed for rent)
