Luis Mata of this alleged company alleged to be a contractor for home improvements. He allegedly did work for my bro in law, but after scamming us, we learned he did not do all the work, but had other workers. He came to our home after we asked him or an estimate to install hardwood flooring in our master bedroom. We decided to use his service based on what we thought was his workmanship and his estimate. On August 2, 2022 Luis stated he needed money to purchase the flooring and would deliver it to our home on 9/13/2022 and installment would begin on 09/19/22. The completion date would be by 09/23/2022 and if not, $100.00 would be deducted each day from the balance. The hardwood cost was $2000.00 (amount of check Luis was given on 8/2/22. The balance of $1,800.00 would be paid to Luis when work was completed. The wood flooring was never delivered to us after many, many promises and lies that he was on his way or was coming tomorrow. We filed in Small Claims Court, received a favorable decision, but he did not respond nor return our money. To date, we have not received our money. Luis cashed the check on the same day it was given to him using a passport as identification. After the fact, it seems Luis is not a legitimate contractor or owns a business. He also uses Luis Armando as a name.

Agreement between two parties for hardwood floor installion in bedroom and upstairs hall. Alleged contractor requested $2000.00 to purchase the hardwood flooring. A check for that amount was given to contractor on 8/30/2022. The check was cashed at my credit union, which was on the check. A non english passport was either pulled by the credit union or presented by alleged contractor. The hardwood flooring was never delivered to my address, therefore he never installed the flooring. Many, many attempts have been made to get the flooring or the money returned with no success. He gave several excuses, lies and pretenses that he was coming to install the flooring, but never, ever arrived. To date, he has not been heard from nor have we received the money back. He is not trustworthy and is a thief.
