This company sends faxes that look like a bill for "Managed Domain Name Services" renewal. We do not do business with this company and never have. This is not a renewal, but a scam to get payment only.

Our accounting department received an invoice via fax for DNS services. We use a different company for that service and the sender of the fax was trying to trick our accounting department to make this payment that would switch our service over to Web Envy.

WebEnvy DNS attempted to collect a fictitious invoice by claiming to manage a domain with an annual fee. It is a website we do not own & for a company that is not us.

Our charitable organization received a fax alerting of a Managed Domain Name Service 1 year renewal; we do not business with them for domains. A good point to make is they used an old URL on the invoice and requested us to renew this old URL. There is a legitimate due date, invoice number, and account number (assuming made up) so very hard to catch if the invoice was actually fake or not.

Our secretary received a fax in the mail from this company. The fax contained an invoice for "Managed Domain Name Services." The invoice was for a few hundred dollars, and is due at the end of this month. The secretary gave the invoice to me, and I identified it as a scam, as we have received similar scams like this before from other fake companies.

We received a fax of an invoice stating that our managed domain name was renewing for a 1 year renewal. It had a domain name and everything on the invoice and looked like a legit invoice. It had our company name and address on the invoice, even an account number. I researched online about the company because all of our domains are managed somewhere else. I found out that it's a scam going around so I reported my part of the scam as well.
