Vehicle Services Division Reports & Reviews (155)

I received a letter from Vehicle Services Division Private & Confidential with my 14 uear old child's name on the form. I called them to ask how they had an underage driver's information and that I wanted to speak with someone in management to have her name removed and to understand how they had our child's information. Mind you it was in her nickname! I spoke to two individuals because they first person simply stated it was a clerical error. Absolutely not! You are using children's name for business scams. He attempted to raise his voice and I said I would and will be reporting them. He hung up! The second man attempted to tell me the same information and that it's their marketing team. I said no its a scam and he attempted to argue with me amd I let him know I will be reporting them to evert outlet I can. Consumers this is not okay on any level! Our children are exploited enough in this world that companies that do business in this maner need to be shut down! Report them! Heading
over to BBB next!
Using Children's Name that aren't legal age to drive

Only two days after transferring my vehicle's title into my name (gift from deceased relative) I started receiving notices in the mail about renewing my vehicle's warranty. Today (12 days post-title transfer) I received an official looking "final notice" requesting I call the 800 number "with current VIN and current mileage before [date]." The notice is on thin, cheap paper but has an official looking esignature from Richard Thomas "Program Coordinator" and they have my VIN number already from a previous notice (yes, my exact VIN)

I keep receiving letters from them, warning my warranty is about to expire and to contact them. The problem is they don't have their facts straight, because my first name is incorrect and it lists a vehicle I never owned. Already called once to take me off their mailing list, which apparently didn't help since I received yet another letter today.

I receive a check in the mail in the amount of $199. And the attachment went on to see without a vehicle protection plan in place, you are at risk of being financially liable for any and all repairs. However, you still may have time left to activate coverage on your vehicle before it’s too late. No inspection will be required and financial acceptance is subject to your ability to meet eligibility requirements. It went on to say we reserve the right to revoke your eligibility for service coverage after five days and there was a number provided and that phone number is 1-800-889-0871 and it went on to say please respond by 5/25/2023. I called the above number to inquire more on what this is for. They have my vehicle year and model Honda *** ****. I did not provide any of my personal information. They tell me what coverage I can have they were trying to lower the payments from 495 to less than that and I was kind of skeptical so after the person put me on hold I hung up my phone I blocked your number and I decide to Google and look them up and I see a lot of people is making a complaint about receiving this so please can you do an investigation because this is a major. However, this letter did not come to my home. It was sent to my sisters address and not my address so I do not know how they have my sister’s address and my name attached to it so that was a red flag right there for me.

They send mail that looks like it comes from the DMV and makes urgent requests. They make it looks like there is a check involved, but there is not. The whole thing is a scam and it is easy to think it is something serious to respond to, when it is all a scam.

The letter indicated that my vehicle factory warranty has expired or may be about to expire and I needed to call 1-800-851-0673 and provide my vehicle VIN and current mileage. It was signed by the "Program Coordinator, Richard Thomas." The letter or envelope did not have a legit business name other than "Vehicle Services Division Private & Confidential." It also gave the business hours of operation, Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 8:00 pm CST and Saturday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm CST.

I received this letter in the mail today with the wrong maker, model, and year of my car (I don’t have a Jeep) which was the first scam indicator. Did some research because there is no company mentioned, just “Steven Wilson, Program Coordinator”. I ended up on this website pretty quickly and found other pictures of letters that are identical to the one I received. Definitely a scam!

Received mail indicating my vehicle factory warranty has expired or may be able to expire. The letter warned me that neglecting to activate your coverage will put me at risk of being financially liable for repairs.

Received a notice stating that it's my final notice to get vehicle protection.
When I blocked my identity and called the number, the call didn't go thru. When I unblocked my number, it went thru. I didn't entertain it because my car is fully covered.

Pretty sure it's a scam.

I get one of these about every month claiming to be the "Final Attempt" and regarding a vehicle that I don't own. This most recent had a "check" for $199! The "check" was detailed front and back to look real with a small "This is not a check" at the bottom.

Multiple times receiving, though the USPS, 'Final Notice' and a mock Registration Fee Voucher of $199.00, for vehicle coverage of a 2022 Genuine Scooter Co. Roughhouse. They ask to be called at 1-888-413-5067 Monday - Friday 8am to 7pm CST or Saturday 10am to 4pm CST. These get sent around the first week of the month and request to be called by the end of the same month. They provided a different 'Record ID' in each notice. The notification states: "Without a vehicle protection plan in place, you are at risk of being financially liable for any and all repairs. However, you still may have time left to activate coverage on your vehicle before it's too late. No inspection will be required and final acceptance is subject to your ability to meet eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to revoke your eligibility for service coverage after 5 days."

I have received multiple mail pieces about a 2022 Mini Cooper. This mail piece appears as if it was a check addressed to me for $199. On the piece that looks like a check the is "Registration Fee Voucher" listed and "Expire Date:3/31/2023.

There is no specific sender listed and no company, but on the outside of the envelope Vehicle Services Division. The instructions are to call immediately to the telephone number listed 1888-413-5067

This is the second notice from these scammers!!! They do not list their address or company name. I knew it was a scam right away. But just to make sure

I called my dealership and they said that they never heard of this company before and that I am fully covered no need to extend anytime soon.

Big Scam!!!!!! Watch out!!!
