This letter is deceptive trying to initiate fear to get me to respond. I feel violated receiving mail like this at home. This could trick like grandma or something. How can these people get away with this

- Gallup, NM, USA

The letter indicated that my vehicle factory warranty has expired or may be about to expire and I needed to call 1-800-851-0673 and provide my vehicle VIN and current mileage. It was signed by the "Program Coordinator, Richard Thomas." The letter or envelope did not have a legit business name other than "Vehicle Services Division Private & Confidential." It also gave the business hours of operation, Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 8:00 pm CST and Saturday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm CST.

I received this letter in the mail today with the wrong maker, model, and year of my car (I don’t have a Jeep) which was the first scam indicator. Did some research because there is no company mentioned, just “Steven Wilson, Program Coordinator”. I ended up on this website pretty quickly and found other pictures of letters that are identical to the one I received. Definitely a scam!
Vehicle Service Contract, “Factory Warranty Expired”

- Denver, CO, USA

Received mail indicating my vehicle factory warranty has expired or may be able to expire. The letter warned me that neglecting to activate your coverage will put me at risk of being financially liable for repairs.

Received a notice stating that it's my final notice to get vehicle protection.
When I blocked my identity and called the number, the call didn't go thru. When I unblocked my number, it went thru. I didn't entertain it because my car is fully covered.

Pretty sure it's a scam.

I get one of these about every month claiming to be the "Final Attempt" and regarding a vehicle that I don't own. This most recent had a "check" for $199! The "check" was detailed front and back to look real with a small "This is not a check" at the bottom.

Multiple times receiving, though the USPS, 'Final Notice' and a mock Registration Fee Voucher of $199.00, for vehicle coverage of a 2022 Genuine Scooter Co. Roughhouse. They ask to be called at 1-888-413-5067 Monday - Friday 8am to 7pm CST or Saturday 10am to 4pm CST. These get sent around the first week of the month and request to be called by the end of the same month. They provided a different 'Record ID' in each notice. The notification states: "Without a vehicle protection plan in place, you are at risk of being financially liable for any and all repairs. However, you still may have time left to activate coverage on your vehicle before it's too late. No inspection will be required and final acceptance is subject to your ability to meet eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to revoke your eligibility for service coverage after 5 days."

I have received multiple mail pieces about a 2022 Mini Cooper. This mail piece appears as if it was a check addressed to me for $199. On the piece that looks like a check the is "Registration Fee Voucher" listed and "Expire Date:3/31/2023.

There is no specific sender listed and no company, but on the outside of the envelope Vehicle Services Division. The instructions are to call immediately to the telephone number listed 1888-413-5067

This is the second notice from these scammers!!! They do not list their address or company name. I knew it was a scam right away. But just to make sure

I called my dealership and they said that they never heard of this company before and that I am fully covered no need to extend anytime soon.

Big Scam!!!!!! Watch out!!!

- Ellensburg, WA, USA

I never contacted these people and they have my information. The letter they sent was intimidating and if other people received it they just might feel pressured to call and get the coverage. I do not appreciate my personal information being used like this

Immediate response requested for my 2020 chevy tahoe warranty, record id 047tx12725. I even got Registration Fee Voucher worth $199 which is awesome except i own a 2000 tundra thats already been registered and not a 2020 tahoe. So either someone has used my name to get a truck, but considering I cant even get a loan for something that new, I doubt anyone else did. or this is a scam so im reporting it

Final notice

Scam! Here’s mine

I received an aggressively worded letter and official looking envelope misleadingly made written and made to look like I need to act urgently to protect my car.

While they might technically provide some kind of coverage, they are an extended car warranty company through and through, and more than likely charge far too much for little protection. They are a legal scam, like pay day loans.
Technically a real company, but a misleading extended car warranty.
