I purchased a used car from a person about a month ago in Maryland. I had since registered the title and the car in another state, Colorado. I have no idea of how this scammer found out that I have this car. They must have a way of monitoring official records of the various states.

Important Document

Keep on sending letters to my address stating I need to renew my warranty coverage before it expires. I've received around 10 to 15 letters from these fonnys in the past 2 years.

I received, essentially, the same letter. different phone number. Reported it to the Better Business Bureau. Confirmed with my car salesman this letter did not come from their dealership and is to be assumed as a scam. Confirmed the phone number to be scam too.

Could definitely fool the elderly or young people

Fairly official looking letter in a blank envelope with no business name, no return address, no business address, and an 800 number. Trying to sell a fake warranty. I am 100% willing to bet that my recent shopping online for insurance resulted in one of those companies selling my information to this scammer. Beware!

Generic email regarding my brand new (167 miles) 2023 Ford . Reported that my manufacturer warranty was about to expire. There was no provided email, no provide web site, company name is made up (number ties to a "phoenix warranty services".

No return address, no address on envelope and the postal service delivers? I hold USPS responsible for delivering this type of mailing no matter how much income they generate! This is a scam and the government is allowing it to happen using their means of transportation and man hours, not to mention the aggravation the American people have to deal with this! Its a shame!

I knew off the bat this was a scam. Because I never had a driver's license in my life & never owned a car in my life. So yea definitely a scam. How do I come about this. That's crazy cause a senior can get easily scammed for thier money. I hope this can get looked into. I'm not the only one.
